Hotel is to be reached on a rough unpaved road some 10 minutes outside of Trashigang. Our very luxurious room with jacuzzi was simply beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were served by very friendly staff and comprised well prepared dishes - everything tasted very well. The only shortfall was that wifi was available, but without access to Internet. Nevertheless we would...

As Bezi points out so well... I associate this name with the resort 2 km outside Trashigang. We stayed at the 'main' building (on top of the hill). The staff are helpful. The Druk 11000 was fairly priced. The wifi was free but bordering between slow and nonexistent (depending on distance from the lobby and number of logged-on guests [6...

Reading the reviews you might wonder if they are all about the same hotel, and you would be right as there are actually 3 places all with pretty much the same name! They are all called Druk Deothjung, one is called hotel and it is in town. The other is called resort and it is out of town over the...

The rooms and bathrooms are sooooo big, rather unnecessary we felt. The hotel is clearly new with some finishings not complete or very functional. The staff were very pleasant. However the ratio of staff to guests was unreasonable with 6 staff serving 4 of us breakfast. We do understand this is the low season but it didn't make for a...

The room is also the BEST that we had stayed throughout the tour. Size is very big (see the photos again). The bathroom has a...

This review is for Druk Deothjung Resort that is on top of a hill. A beautiful hotel with great views. We had stayed here two nights in their suite 222. The suite is luxurious and will make you forget that you are in the remote Eastern Bhutan where getting a decent room becomes a challenge. Moreover it is one of...

We stayed at this place for two nights once on our way to Thrumsingla and on our return journey . Do remember that when travelling through East Bhutan , you are far from the madding crowds and luxury hotels . But Druk (on top of the hill) is really like a place in paradise . The first night , although...

When travelling in East Bhutan just remember that you are far from the big stream of tourists and fancy hotels... We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Drukdoejung Hotel. Nice and clean, good typical food ! Friendly service and located beautifully up in the mountain.
