This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our two week trip to Albania. It was very good value and the rooms were clean and had tv/air-con. The staff were very helpful and even made a birthday cake for one of our group (for free).

I really liked this central located hotel and would recommend it for good value and comfort! The English speaking management is very friendly and helpful. There is a small ground restaurant which turns out good meals too. Parking is a bit tight in the alley, but staff was very helpful in that regard.

It´s a brand new place. First night I stayed at bacpackers for € 12 / night in a dorm, not even towels were provided.. In Berati you get a single with private bathroom, tv and balcony for € 15. The staff don´t speak much english but very friendly

After a night in the Relax in Girokastra, this hotel looked like heaven. Only three flights up this time, a small bathroom WITH a toilet seat for a change, nice balcony overlooking the alley so there was endless entertainment. Very clean and staff in main area/restaurant very gracious and spoke enough English to be helpful. Very close to bus/furgon station....

For the price this was good but it has many steps up to the bedrooms which can be difficult for anyone who has difficulties in walking. The bedroom was basic & not very clean - though for the price I suppose that may be anticipated. The breakfast was basic & broke our fast. Parking was in the narrow street which...

We arrived here after a day of HELL on four wheels, we were directed onto a motorway - BUT, it was a motorway under construction, so an hours journey took 3. There is little parking, so get there early if you want something off the main road. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, and does speak excellent English, but...

Hotel Berati is a nice place to stay in Berat. It's clean, cheap and in a very good position to visit the most important sites! The manager is very welcoming, helpful and she speaks a very good italian and english. The breakfast is nice, simple and healthy.

You get what you pay for! We got this little hotel because it was cheap and right in the centre of town. We didn't expect much else. However if you do expect someone to sort out the problems with water in your room, then give this hotel a miss- very disappointing.

Inexpensive, clean, quite basic, very central near the mosques' quarter, parking on the side street outside the front door. No wi-fi, but a PC with internet connection available. Restaurant is simple. The manager, Kozeta, went out of her way to help us (took us to a local store to buy a map, translated for us, put a reading lamp in...

“Maybe ask for a room on the back, though it won't be as interesting as the alley. I was on the alley and definitely needed my earplugs since there were lots of local families facing my room and vehicles going up and down the alley. Front has a very busy main street.”
