We stayed at Mai House for 3 nights in March this year, we found our stay really OK, I would try to describe both up and down sides of the stay. You could see a small piece of the sea from our sea view bungalow, it was not really near the sea though. The house was rather clean, the bed...

We booked for 2 nights and decided to stay one more extra night and in so doing sacrificed 800,000 dong to change our flights just to have one more day in this lovely piece of paradise. A big thank you to Gerard and his lovely wife Mai for organising our flight change and going to the airport office and picking...

We spent 6 nights here for our honeymoon and it is was perfection! The rooms are huge with gorgeous 4 poster beds, the beach is beautiful and the whole layout of the resort is so laid back that it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The food at the resturant was by far the best on the...

My husband and I ended a couple of weeks of travelling around Vietnam with three nights relaxing on Phu Quoc Island. We arrived at the resort and were very impressed with the gardens which was well maintained all day every day by the smiliest gardeners. Our bungalow was lovely and spacious and had a great area at the front where...

Can't believe this place is only 2 stars - it felt like five star luxury. All staff very attentive and welcoming. Gorgeous accommodation and the best location. They really keep the grounds in the best condition. We ate and drank there most of the time and also hired mopeds from them so we were expecting a hefty bill at the...

By coincidence we ended up at the Mai House Resort. I was disappointed about other places we (should have) stayed, and made a tour around Long Beach. Actually I wanted to ask for a room at the Veranda Resort, but they were fully booked. The Mai House Resort was the last place I visited. I came in, and discovered a...

We extended our time on Phu quoc by two nights and moved from next door to spend our last 2 nights somewhere special. We really enjoyed our time here; the bungalows are super comfortable with nets, AC and a huge shower. The restaurant serves great food as well, the beach front is gorgeous and the owner is really nice and...

We spent a heavenly 10-day holiday at Mai House in February 2011. Be assured of a warm welcome by Mai and Gerard at their sumptuous resort. Living in bungalows dispatched in a beautiful garden planted with palmtrees facing the sea, you will be attended to by effcient, discreet waiters. A wonderful dimly-lit restaurant where you enjoy a variety of dishes...

We didn't even...
