We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. Rooms are big and clean. The bed is very good. The private beach is great, very clean and quite. Free sun beds. The restaurant and bar is good but a bit pricey on the food. The spa is nice, directly at the beach. We got massages and mani/pedi and where happy with...

It took us a long time to decide upon a place to stay in Phu Quoc as there are so many great reviews on trip advisor. So glad we found Mai House as it was just perfect! We stayed here for 3days and could not have picked a better place! We stayed in bungalow 5 which was sea facing, very comfortable...

We landed in Phu Qhoc (23rd Feb 2016) with a little apprehension, reviews for the Mai House hotel that we had booked for two weeks were generally good, but some recently were quite poor. We wanted something with a little character as against a large hotel complex. In summary our stay exceeded expectations. Specific points mentioned in previous reviews -...

They have the best private beach on Long Beach with really cute and cozy bungalows. The staff is top notch and humble. The spa is very affordable and the staff extremely polite and professional. I viewed and visited many of the other properties and along the beach but this is ideal for those without children, especially couples, in need of...

The accommodations and property are beautiful. This was my first time to the island, but the overall location seemed certainly suitable and the beach was one of the cleanest. Upon arrival we were welcomed to the property, shown to our rooms (cottages). Each unit was very well maintained, our units had AC which I believe was optional. The layout is...

This place has revelled in the surge of internet bookings from abroad, hiking there prices and taking payment before seeing the resort. Stayed here years ago when they used to care properly for the place, still a bunch of money grabbing penny pinching blaggards! Grass hadn't been cut for weeks, gardens not tended to properly, breakfast a wrip off for...

The resort is beautiful with possibly the best stretch of beach on the island. Lovely sun chairs. Very sub standard restaurant but there are nice restaurants nearby to eat out. Rooms are quite beautiful. Pity there's no swimming pool. I feel they have the space. 3-stars for the beach and rooms.

We stayed here for our last night in Phu Quoc - we had heard good things and wanted to take a look at Long Beach and perhaps stay longer. What a sore disappointment. I understand that Phu Quoc is a developing island, and foreign tourism is a new line of business for many of these people - but seriously, for...

This place has a lot of houses close to the beach. The best huts are at the front, the ones in the back seem to be in a very dark area. The hut / cabine is spacious with a lot of accessories. Little fridge where every morning two bottles of complimentary waters are placed. Coffee and tea maker, air-conditioning and...

Mai House Resort is on the west coast of Phu Quoc island, right on the beach. Every evening we sat in the bar / restaurant and enjoyed a drink as we watched the sun set beautifully on the Gulf of Thailand. Each room is a little cottage. The more expensive ones are nearer to the beach. The less expensive ones...
