It was disgusting. The room smelled like mold. The bedding was very stained and dirty. If you then went into the basement-like bathroom it smelled like fish food and the towels were also dirty. The toilet could not be flushed, everywhere was dirt or dead small animals and in the lamp decomposed two salamanders. Absolutely not recommended! Moreover, when we asked the reception if they could call us a cab for the next morning, they offered to drive us to our destination (13 min) which we thought was a friendly gesture included in the already way too expensive hotel price. Right before we took off (we were already in the car), he told us that it will cost 400 Baht, which made it impossible for us to call a taxi by ourselves as we had to arrive at our destination on time. All in all a very unpleasant experience with a very bad quality-price ratio.…

This is an unusual place to stay. Very rural and peaceful. It has a free water park attached. Actually three pools with various inflatables, some of which are under inflated and dangerous. The resort also has its own pool. There's a river running alongside where you can get your feet nibbled by fish if that's your thing. The evening meal was very good and good price. Aircon in room was very good. Beds are standard doubles, not king. We were the only guests which was weird. Recommended for one or two night stay with kids. 500thb for lift to ferry terminal.

Heard like this place is popular for 10 years since built. This might used to be modern by those moment and yes, time hurt building, facility but allow flowers, trees, and forest to grow within. Location big pain, it is very far from everything - closest 7-11 is 30km afar. Once you're in, even own a car - you might lose willing to drive just to nearest available 30km restaurant. If you feel Ok with it - pick this place. Accommodation is clean even been through years, might slightly outdated and old but function. Bed, pillows, air con working very well. Towel is below most hotel standard but not that bad. Amenities is quite standard and little be below. Ambient and environment is lovely, mosquitoes is frequently around, repellent is that needed. One bad impression is stray dogs are everywhere. They invaded a trash and garbage is everywhere.…

We visited Tontarn during the off-season so we were the only guests around. We felt very welcomed to the resort. We also got a free ride to town, where we rented low-price and high-quality scooters from the owner's friend. We also got a nice ride to the airport (at extra cost). The resort has a nice garden and awesome waterpark.

The place is very nice and beautifully designed - lots of beuatiful flowers, cute houses, a nice climbing path across the little river, and a spa consisting of a spot in the river where the fish nibble on your feet. Yet although we liked it and appreciated the love and care put into the place, the quality-price ratio was not good; the accomodation was basic and the food in the restaurant was substandard.

We didn't stay at the hotel. We went for the fish spa. Four of us were there for about 45 minutes. They close at 5 but we showed up at 5 but they took us in. It was 150 baht each. The fish there are really big. They tickle you and it takes time to get used their pecking. We also visited the sheep farm. We took pictures of baby sheep there. The resort is not on the beach and it took us about 40 minutes to get there from khanom downtown. We got lost and asked a guy on a scouter who was passing by. He was nice to take us back to where we were supposed to make a right. The sign to the fish spa are covered with leaves and we weren't able to see the. In short, it was fun.
