This is a cheap, budget hotel with small rooms with thin walls. They gave me room 32 which was right above the reception area, so from very early morning to late at night I had to hear large numbers of people coming and going and organizing trips. Staff are friendly and speak English well. Got some laundry done and it...

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The locations is right on the river and is centrally located. Ivan, the owner, is sweet and a joy to chat with. All of the staff take care of anythi g you need. I extended mg stay by one night because I loved the vibe of Mawlamyine and Breeze Guesthouse. There is a...

The rooms are like prison cells, I book a "de luxe" room with aircon and bathroom, it was a dark prison cell with no windows. I asked for a room with a window and they gave me a huge weird room but it was like sleeping outside, only thin wood walls with holes. I had to pay 10$ extra and...

We stayed in a private room which was on the 1st floor just above the bathroom space. We had a window near the floor which was caged off it looked like we were in a prison cell. The beds were old and creaky and the room wasn't very clean. I wouldn't return.

I was so nervous about staying here after reading all of the reviews beforehand but this was by far the cheapest place to stay in Mawlamyine and we were clawing back a budget overspent in Thailand. I want to firstly say it was not at all as bad as I thought it would be. The guesthouse is a beautiful old...

We rented bikes from this place to go in the orge Island. First off, we should have known, the bicycles were in pretty bad condition from the start. Once we got on the island, about 50m down the road, one of the bike tyres burst. We walked around for a while trying to find a solution. By chance (we thought!)...

Breeze is the cheapes option to stay in Mawlamyine and due to that it is very busy. Staff is used to handle backpackers needs and not too patient with some issues. Bikes could be rented and tickets to all major destinations booked. As there have been a lot complaints about Breeze, I have to admit that I have nothing to...

This could be an amazing guest house as it is a great old English townhouse from colonial times. Unfortunately, this is all about making money. While the staff is (mostly) friendly, knowledgeable and quite helpful, the rooms are not worth their price. They mostly consist of a bed and in our case the sheets were dirty and the blankets looked...
