The standard of service was outstanding even by Myanmar standards (which has been mostly really good); they were always ready to help and with useful answers to our questions. Tours are pricey but they aren't pushy. They gave us 4 bottles of water daily - so we had plenty. Breakfast - I had soup noodles which I really enjoyed but...

The Cinderella Hotel in Mawlamyine is a very special place to stay, and in a good way. The rooms are generally spacious and nice enough, the staff is really friendly, but what really made our stay memorable were the "extras": you get so many things as compliments that you never knew you needed (including as a pink shower cap with...

We stayed at Cinderella for 3 nights in Feb 2017. the room was a very good size, with a good bed, chairs, table, large fridge, a comfy balcony which two of us could sit on no problem, with our washing as well. The bathroom again was a good size and had a shower with a shower curtain with a hot...

After an accident leaving me with a large burn on my leg, I desperately walked into this hotel. I could not find a hospital or pharmacy. They let me use their wifi immediately. They showed me where a good hospital was, and called a taxi for me and my friend to get there. After the treatment we were unable to...

Also very nice staff. the laundry had been a bit expensive but for this really good. Restaurant had very good food and...

What a lovely way to spend my last few days in Myanmar. Probably the most luxurious room I stayed in all trip, and a beautiful garden/dining area. Great value hotel, although one of the more expensive I stayed in ($60 for double room), definitely worth it. Food a little pricey, but delicious, and really good (inlcusive) breakfasts too. Best wifi...

Cinderella lives up to the reviews. It wasn't cheap but it was clean and comfortable. The reception staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful all the time. The room was large, with a balcony and the complimentary drinks, fruit and snacks were great. Loved all the information boards and artefacts in the corridors. Breakfast in the restaurant was good with good...

This is not a dirt-cheap hostel, but it's also not a dirt-bag hostel. Everything was cleanly and well-maintained. You're a 15 minute walk from the ridge where the main temples and spots to see the city are. You're also a 10-15 minute walk from the main market and plenty of interesting side streets. A very good option.

This well run hotel is the best in town if you want somewhere smaller than the huge Strand. Good sized rooms equipped with every thing you could ever want but with a poor shower. The restaurant in the courtyard at the back serves an excellent breakfast and dinner. It shaded by floering trees. The rooms at the front maybe a...

Good location, nice rooms that seem well cared for and are a good size, reasonable pricing (for Myanmar, where hotels are generally pretty expensive without necessarily being as nice as the Cinderella). The attached restaurant also does good food in a pleasant garden setting. Wifi was also the best I had outside of Yangon. The hotel has lots of interesting...
