The whole hotel itself is very run down and old. Our villa we were showed to had a broken aircon, so we were moved to another villa, but there we had a constant running toilet. The bathrooms are awful, no hot water, the water that does come out of the shower is a drizzle. The bath towels are old thin...

Villa lalu is a family favourite of ours . We love how it is situated off the road which makes it very peaceful , the beautiful balinese architecture and tranquil gardens , the smaller number of villas which allows you to relax without the chaos of to many other guests and the friendly staff who make you instantly feel at...

Had a fantastic stay at Villa Lalu, with all its old school Bali charm and super friendly staff, was a perfect get away for me and my friends, will definitely return. Thank you Lan and crew for all your hospitality

No running water in showers literally a drizzle came out which wasn't enough to wet yourself with. second toilet leaked constantly and was out of use. No warm water in vila at all. No security box, bedrooms only had air-condition main living only had ceiling fans, opened to outside garden area with empty pond (not ideal for small children) which...

This was the perfect stay for our group of 4 adults and 8 kids. While the traditional Balinese Villas are undergoing a facelift our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The location is close to Bintang supermarket and close enough to walk to some of Seminyak's main streets and the beach while being set-in off the main roads. Large pool and...

I have stayed, over the last 20 years, at Villa La Lu., innumerable times. Ideally located in the middle of everything and close to the beach, it offers a quiet retreat from the " madding crowd". Spacious villas, high ceilings offer an insight into old Bali, beautiful woodwork, compliments open plan living areas, some villas are complimented with private pools...

If you like a well manicured kind of place this is not for you. The villa Lalu is a dishevelled, bohemian establishment, full of charm and beauty but can look a little unkempt and neglected. That said, the rooms are generous and lovely and always feel fresh and clean. Most things work most of the time but if you love...

Within a few minutes walk of the main street through Seminyak and still peaceful and quiet. The traditional buildings are built in a well established garden around the swimming pool(not fenced), the staff were all super friendly and helpful.

If you want American style glitz, go somewhere else. If you appreciate charm, character and spacious accommodation without breaking the bank then I would strongly recommend you stay here. It might be a little faded around the edges but the staff are so friendly and helpful. It's close to lots of shops and eating places. The ATM is across the...

We went with 2 families and had the upstairs/downstairs combo of villas. Large and spacious with plenty of living area and a large kitchen and fridge. We loved the garden and the peacefulness (although with 5 kids, we created a bit of noise) of the pool area that's located right near the restaurant. Our villa had a little backyard that...
