The breakfast "buffet" was not really great, but the hosts of the lodge tried their best to make our stay pleasant. Their garden is absolutely gorgeous and a pleasure to sit outside your room for a sun downer.

Family room great size and tastefully furnished. We focused exploring The Winelands area and The Strand. Don't know how pleasant the drive to/from Cape Town in rush hour would be. All homes in this upper class neighborhood behind gates. Wonderful breakfasts. Helpful hosts. In the winter we were the only guests, so didn't see the garden/grounds. Take paper & pen...

Ideally located to explore both the wine route and the Cape. Basic rooms (no airco!) which are well maintained. Luckily the temperature was ok, I can imagine that when you are there in high summer that you will miss the airco as well as a fridge in the room. Wolf and his wife are very nice people and have been...

We stayed here in January for a wedding at 'The Vineyard' on the way to Stellenbosch. The rooms are relatively basic, the hosts nice and the location very good. The B&B is just off the main road into Stellenbosch town and you are ideally located for a trip into the Stellenbosch wine area. Cape Town, is only a 20 minute...
