We had a pleasant stay. Everything in place. Hiking Trail well marked. Peace on Earth. Will recommend this venue for overnight, more than one day. Felt save all the time. Beautifull view and facilities clean and give perspective on "green living". Waking up is a smile!

We stumbled on Teniqua Treetops and we are so glad we did. What a peaceful, restorative, magical place. Such welcoming owners, charming setting and adorable cats and dog to give you attention! We will be back for sure.

We spent a very pleasant stay at a fabulous treehouse in Teniqua. Vivian and Robin are very charming ex sixty-eighter and emanate an extremely peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. They seem to live in symbiosis with the surrounding nature. The treetop “facility” is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. By slightly warmer, weather one could have stayed even longer. Compliments!

Absolutely loved our stay at Teniqua! It's a fantastic, relaxing place to just unwind from it all. The treehouses are brilliant, loved the entire construction and so nice to see such an effort to keep it environmentally sustainable in every way possible. Plus, there aren't many better views, especially when you can enjoy them from the bath! We were even... More

We enjoyed our stay and the unit is well-equipped with everything you need for self-catering.It's built in such a way to ensure your privacy and one feels completely secluded. As we only stayed for 1 night, we weren't able to hike the trails, but they sound wonderful. We enjoyed braaing on the deck, overlooking the treetops and listening to the birds.... More

Lovely but would have preferred the Treehouse with a view of the valley (for bird spotting). Loved the walking trails in the area and down at the riverside . The Italian restaurant in Sedgefield was superb.

Our first-ever experience in a tented treetop house, completely enveloped by trees. My children (11 and 15) loved every minute of it. The setting is so tranquil, and each unit completely private. On our first morning we woke to the sound of falling rain, and we unzipped our tent side so that we were still snug in our beds but... More

For children under the age of 10 this is perfect. Nice play area. All close to the play area. Rooms up in the "trees". This is why it is only exciting for young children. In fact the rooms are on stilts in thick bush like trees rather than high pine trees which is what I had imagined. The actual rooms... More

Thanks, I think. We are in dry Afro-Montane forest, it is pristine indigenous forest. Which means the trees are protected, so we find a gap in the forest and build in the gap, trying to encorporate the trees into the design. We may not legally damage any trees. The actually tree houses are way too large to fit into a... More
