Very peaceful house in the trees with no people around, just the birds. There is a lovely pool Jacuzzi and fire pit area where you can go to meet other guests. We enjoyed going down to the river where you can swim. Impressive how the tree houses are built keeping the environment in mind. Saw a few loeries, lots of...

The apartment is situated in a calme area close to Franschhoek. It is very clean and is equipped with all which is required for a holiday trip. The wifi-signal in and close to the apartment could be better.

We just returned from a 2 night visit to Teniqua , 25/26 March , with family of 4 including 2 twenty something sons. What a relaxing place in the forest. It was absolute silence , no tv , no radio , absolute bliss. The stars at night were amazing due to no light pollution from big surrounding cities. We stayed...

Beautiful scenery, nice cabins, our cabin needed some attention. Secure environment. Nice braai area. Nice hike. Water in river seems to have chemicals (factory upstream?) in it, foamy and dirty. This is the same water used for bathing. Don't mind the black water common to the area but not happy with the pollution in the river.

Good, safe, relaxing and tranquil. Breathing such fresh air is almost intoxicating. I think a stay is more surreal in with wet, misty weather. Our cabin was surrounded by thick bush, so don't be surprised by visit from odd spider or scorpion!

Liked the place very much, romantical treetop house, with unique features (e.g. bathtub on patio) in a beautiful surrounding. Ecological Concept - Thumbs up. A place for people who like to stay in nature.

It may only be basically a tent on a wooden platform, but our honeymoon treehouse was magical accommodation in wonderful surroundings. It wasn't luxurious but it was a all we needed and well-equipped, with a big and comfortable bed, loads of indoor and outdoor space, and of course the amazing views. The car from the next treehouse was parked only...

We came to Teniqua Tree tops for the second leg of our honeymoon and were warmly greeted by the owners. The cabin we had was a perfect blend of rustic, charming, practical and functional. I felt like I was aboard a ship, following Peter Pan through Neverland as one of the lost boys or that I was Robinson Crusoe. All...

More emphasis on the beautiful bird life at Teniqua More emphasis on the trees, plants and flowers found there. Allso the Fynbos. Perhaps some names on boards fix to trees will help identify the species. Perhaps a brochure with the most birds, trees and flowers/fynbos found and to be on the lookout for at Teniqua. The kids will love this...

The tented room was not up to standard. Hot as hell. Not even a ceiling fan. It was a wobbling tree house, very cramped. We left without staying there! Forfeited our payment! But it was the best move! Stayed at Protea in knysna, which had all the mod cons and comforts. The owners should warn guests! It would be closest to camping!...

Hi, Sorry you did not stay. We try and show people up front what do expect and even have a page on our website "Don't come if". Its not a hotel, it is wacky, we don't compete with the Protea Hotel. We are 3 Star and I appreciate for some its the wrong place. I am sorry Regards Robyn
