There's something to be said for floating on your back in your own turquoise pool under a starry sky, listening to silence broken only by the cheerful chatter of frogs. Then you curl up in a comfortable bed in an immaculate cottage built and decorated in the Cape vernacular style. In the morning you awaken to an uninterrupted vista of...

Our family spent 11 days in Olive Cottage, and really enjoyed our temporary home. The three cottages are well spaced to offer privacy for the residents and a sense of seclusion. The cottage furnishings are very tastefully done and very comfortable. They are serviced by three very nice ladies every day. Things to consider when deciding to book a cottage:...

Stayed with overseas guests over 4 nights. Beautifully set, only 3 self catering cottages, in a working vinyard. Cottage was beautifully furnished, views simply breathtaking, our cottage Lavender Cottage I could move to tomorrow. Farm manager lent us the golf cart so we could scoot around the vinyards with ease. Cannot wait to return. In fact have family returning there...

We had four wonderful nights in Rose Cottage, luxuriating in the beautifully appointed interior, the immaculate garden featuring white Iceberg roses and spectacular view over the lake to the mountains beyond. The driveways through the farm are lined with olive trees, from which they produce their own olive oil, leading you to your discretely located accommodation, yet it's just only...

We were very lucky to spend a week in Lavender Cottage which has the most amazing setting looking out across the private pool to the lake and vineyards beyond. The cottage ( one of only 3 very secluded cottages and 1 Manor House) is beautifully appointed....even a magimix in the kitchen cupboard! This cottage allows pure relaxation in exceptional luxury....

Where do I start? PERFECT! You instantly feel at home in the cottage, and what a home! It is very quiet, beds are ultra comfortable, the view is amazing. The price is very reasonable for this luxurious experience. I could go on and on, we've only spent one night but i will definitely come back for a whole week!!

We stayed at the Rose Cottage for two nights from the 3rd January 2012 and checked out on the 5th January 2012. It is a Self Catering Cottage but really it is more like having your own 1 bedroom Villa on the most amazing Olive and Wine Farm in Franschhoek. The cottage is very well appointed and discerning. All the...

Couldn't believe this wonderful place had never been reviewed and really want others to know about it as it really is fabulous. We celebrated our honeymoon there and it was wonderfully romantic. Firstly Burgundy Bourgougne (BB) is a working wine estate and it has 2 ( think there might now be a third) 5 star self catering cottages nestled in...
