We stayed here for 3 nights. Was pretty good. Rooms really big and comfortable, however the rooms were not that dark at night because of the glass door etc. That was annoying. The shower was also a little sensitive. We have had better breakfasts - it was a 6/10 for breakfast. So for these reasons it loses one star.

Well decorated and spacious accommodation, superb breakfast and very good friendly service. A lovely place for a relaxed, rejuvenating few days. Only one minor criticism - they advertise a riverside walking trail and, while it is a lovely walk, the path is broken and uneven and completely overgrown in places. Needs to be brought up to acceptable standard.

A very lovely guest house with excellent service and lovely grounds, we stayed in a little cottage, my only slight problem was the lighting in the bedrooms, too bright and they need bedside lights, my only little criticism, thank you Charmaine and Esta. Hope to return .

We stayed in the cottage and it was perfect for us with two children and grandma in tow! Charmaine (owner) is amazing, very relaxed and gave us a great wine tasting experience too... Shiraz and Merlot especially delicious! Franschhoek is lovely with lots of foodie wine farms/vineyards on the doorstep. Top tip would be to have a picnic lunch at...

Ann and I stayed two nights at LeManoir de Brendel last month and were very, very pleased with the entire stay. The location and service led by Charmaine and her staff made for an exceptional experience. We would not hesitate to return to Le Manoir de Brendel.

Great suite with loads of room and all facilities we could want. Brilliant breakfasts on terrace. Refreshing and clean pool with reasonable dimensions. Definitely the antithesis of a characterless modern hotel. You could sense the history of the area in very relaxing and beautiful surroundings.

What a surprise! We loved our stay here for our friend's wedding. Beautiful setting, really comfortable spacious room and a great base from which to explore the area. The people there could not do enough for the bridal couple and everyone else. We will be back.

A very pleasant stay. Friendly and helpful people, a good trail through the vineyard and a nice pool. Very large room with two bathrooms. A little road noise audible when the wind was in the wrong direction, although not in the room.

Having endured a 24hr journey we were delighted & quite overwhelmed to arrive at Le Manoir. It was everything we hoped for & more. Nothing was too much trouble, the pool & gardens were stunning & the views breathtaking

Stayed here for 3 nights to visit Franschhoek and the wine area. This was a relaxing base with excellent service and Breakfast. Its a couple of miles out of town but was no problem to arrange taxis into town and the surrounding Estates. Excellent wine from their own vineyard. We stayed with our friends in the cottage. Recommended.
