I loved this little guest house. Personalized service, individual rooms, amazing staff, full breakfast, area's to relax, fireplaces to keep you warm at night, pools to swim in by day. This was my favorite place in all of South Africa to stay. The owner went out of her way as well to visit with us and ensure we saw the...

Solid B&B, with a great breakfast offering. Large enough for our group of 11. Easy walk to village and on to vineries. Cheap at about 40 GBP per head per night with 2 sharing. Decent bathrooms, decent WiFi. It is next to a church though, so a bit too much noise on Sunday morning.

See ratings below. Non secure parking. Locks/security in room poor, (french windows & toilet window, toilet door wont stay closed. Continental breakfast - sliced ham (loaf) very cheap, so disappointing. Tourist information scanty. Small things do matter.

The residence is a historical mission built in 1888 Features are thus original such as doors, and windows and have somewhat unconventional features, such as doors closing that require closing simultaneously to secure and close. This is a quaint feature of some of the rooms as we have kept everything at best to it's original state. Parking is on street parking...

We booked two nights at the guest house, and paid the full amount way in advance. Upon arrival, we felt that the accommodation and service and was by no means of a 4 star standard. We had a bad experience at breakfast on the first morning, and we felt that we were being over charged, and not satisfied at all....

These guests booked using a Groupon Voucher a two night stay here. Upon booking with Jacqueline the General Manager, the gentleman requested a third night, which was agreed upon at full rate, which was paid in advance. Upon purchasing a Groupon voucher it clearly states the deal/voucher includes a continental breakfast only.Staff are instructed to inform guests in case they have...

I've already visited lots of hotels, but only seldom I felt so well and secure similar to here! It's a beautiful place, perfect to relax and leaded with a big love for details. I had the feeling to spend some days in a house of friends. Great! :-))

We spent two nights here in The Class Room which is on the ground floor and adjacent to the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to walk to other venues but most importantly, the comforts of hotel. Particularly, the excellent swimming pool, the peaceful atmosphere of the gardens, the courteous and helpful staff and the very acceptable breakfast.

We only had one night at this beautiful old house but the staff were wonderful and the whole experience one to remember. Very close to all the restaurants which the staff recommended. Thank you. Mavis and Nev.

A beautiful and quaint B&B hotel only a short walk from the main street restaurants. The decor of the entire place is awesome with attention being paid to every detail. It looked like a scene from "out of Africa" :) On our first night we stayed in the upstairs room with the balcony and jacuzzi. The room was lovely and...

No secure parking. Breakfast was of poor quality tinned fruit during the best season for fresh fruit. Bread was commercial purchase and service was not good. We had a shower in the bath which leaked all over the floor. Would not go back value for money not great.
