We spent 3 nights here, oh how I wish it had been longer! From the minute we arrived we knew we had made a good choice. The welcome was brilliant, so friendly! We were shown to our 'room' house more like, it was huge. Sitting room with a wood burner in case we felt cold. A shower room, with direct...

Lovely hotel very friendly rooms spacious its the only hotel i stayed in that the mini bar was complementary and was restocked each day breakfast was great but the hotel lacked choice for dinner either tapas or fine dining experience (which is over priced) but not to worry there is a great restaurant less than 50 yards away called cafe...

For our last night in South Africa we decided to stay at LeQuaf. The property is right in the middle of Franschoek, but the greenery and size of the property makes you feel like you are out of town. The entrance is on the street at the back, but the hotel bar and restaurant are right on the main street...

Franschoek cannot fail?Perhaps we're spoiled rotten. Some in town hotels now suffer from adjacent restaurant competition. So here unless you want the 'gourmet tasting menu' you have to go with the Tapas bar menu. Not particularly inspiring and a lack of carbohydrates. Then what's with Nespresso being so good when we are all getting spoiled with 'Barrista' made coffees and choice roasted beans.The...

From the moment you arrive here, you feel special, like you do really matter - so a great start! Nothing was too much trouble for the team here, they even offered to run us to local restaurants and back for our dinner! LQF Felt like home from home - fabulous food and drinks and a lovely garden to chill out...

Transcendent experience getting away from the hot and dusty outdoors and then checking in to this oasis. Top-class service, great decor, airy and spacious rooms. Definitely worth a stop! Excellent restaurant as well.

The two nights we spent at LQF were outstanding in every way. The location is perfect - right off the main street of this charming town. The decor is simply beautiful, with attention paid to every detail. The service was topnotch, and food simply delicious. It could not have been better. My only slight caveat would be the AC. Even...

We enjoyed the supper club and film (with a glass of wine) that Quartier Francais offer. Lovely little cinema with about 30 seats, tapas style menu in their small restaurant was a treat, there was even a free giant G & T on offer. Great fun and good value.

We stayed two nights here. The room we had was superb. Furnished beautifully, large and very comfortable. The location is excellent on the Main Street although you do feel like you're in a sanctuary. There are two Swimming pools. The hotel is famous for its restaurant which strangely was a bit of a let down. While the tasting menu was...

We enjoyed our stay in lovely Franschooek, and Le Quartier was the highlight. The service at this hotel was excellent without being smothering. The grounds of this property are beautiful (gardens were lush in November) and relaxing. Each room is a little bit different and our had a little private garden in the back and a perfect fireplace. We had...

83 Km from Cape Town, Le Quartier Francais is in the heart of the vineyards of the famous Franschhoek valley of the French Huguenots. Located in the village centre, this privately owned hotel and restaurant is an exquisite stopping place on the wine trail and the trace of the history of the Huguenot settlers, between Mont Rochelle, Haute Provence, Moreson.
