Our two week South African vacation ended with a one night stay at LQF and dinner at the tasting room. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. From the moment you are greeted by the staff at reception to the moment you leave, the experience is delightful and rejuvenating. Our room (15) was beautifully appointed and had...

We had a very pleasant three nights there in November while visiting the local wineries. The staff were always cheerful and helpful. The rooms were enormous and we even had a fire lit in ours. The Tasting Rooms was a wonderful experience - atmosphere was informal and the food excellent. I hope we will be back

We just came here for breakfast one morning, very pleasant, good choice of food very nicely presented, nice atmosphere. Supposed to be one of the best spots in town for breakfast and I would certainly come back.

On arrival for our 2 night stay we were warmly welcomed before being shown to our upstairs Auberge Luxury room which is one of those set around the pool and gardens and offered great views of the mountains in the distance. The room was spacious and well appointed with all the amenities of a top of the range hotel. The...

This is one of the places were you just enjoy staying. We were very warmly welcomed and after that treated very well. Very nice rooms, very nice staff, very nice surroundings with a pool, spa, a very good and healthy breakfast, and so on. We also had great massages, and a great dinner at the Tasting Room. Very enjoyable!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in November 2014. The hotel is centrally located in Franschhoek Village and is within 5-10 minutes walk of everything that you would need. There is plenty of parking on site behind a secure gate. Our room was spacious and even had an open fire which could be lit if...

Arriving in Franschhoek this hotel is located at one end of the main road in a quiet location. The first impressions were fantastic with a very tasteful reception area and beautiful small pool, around which most of the rooms were set. The rooms themselves were very spacious, homely and well equipped. There was a lovely bar at the front of the...

My husband and I wandered the street early on a Tuesday evening and wandered into this restaurant for a drink thinking it was a cocktail bar. We chose our drinks and ended up ordering some of the tapas. Service was great and the tapas was truly special - popcorn prawns with lime salt (amazing) chicken satay (best ever) delicious duck...
