This property is an easy 15 minute walk to town/restaurants and we felt quite happy walking back at night. We enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pleasant pool area. The room was comfortable and had a small balcony. There weren't any fridges in the room but guests could use the main fridge in the kitchen area. An enjoyable...

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast. The rooms were large, very well furnished and spotlessly clean. Great view from the balcony. The breakfast was very good, especially liked the fruit and musli. Host was welcoming and helpful. Would recommend this bed and breakfast and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if i was in the area.

This was our second visit to Maison D'ail and, as before, it was a lovely experience. The bedroom was perfect and the verandah overlooking the pool a great spot to sit and read. The breakfast was beautifully presented and served. Highly recommended.

Beautiful small Boutique Accomodation. Loved the decor and style. The breakfast was the best on our whole holiday. Yes it was quite far out of Franschoek to walk, but that appealed to me as it was very peaceful. It was only a 5 minutes drive into the Village. I would have no hesitation in recommending Maison d'Ail Guest House.

We spent 4 nights at Maison d'Ail. Our room was lovely with a balcony looking out across the hills. The house is very spacious with lovely indoor and outdoor seating areas and a nice pool. The breakfasts are excellent and the staff and owners helpful and friendly. Would definetly recommend.

This guest house has only five rooms. Our room was large, comfortable and welcoming, but there were a few cob webs in the ceiling, so the cleaning could have been better. But don't let this put you off, it is still very good accommodation. The only downside was that it was a quite far from the village centre and too...

Jeanne made it easy for me; parking bay, keys and....breakfast prepared for me before the usual time so that I can be on time for my meeting. The stay was awesome, nice view on the valley in the morning at sunrise I felt at...

Our hosts Clive and Jean where hospitable, and their staff delightful if rather shy. The choice of décor in public rooms and bedrooms was tasteful, restful and comfortable. Zak their black labrador visited from his home next door to the guest house and amused those of us who like dogs but didn't bother those who didn't invite his attention. We...
