We spent two nights at The Villas which was wonderful. The self catering facilities had everything we needed and the Nespresso type coffee machine was very welcome. There is something about living under thatch that is so cosy. The only small complaint was that the bathroom needed upgrading hut still totally acceptable.

We loved it here. The units were solidly built so no noise disturbing our sleep & were of a good size. The grounds are beautiful & views great. The hotel was about 5 minutes drive from the centre of Franschhoek so taxis are required if going out in the evening. Baby sitting services are available. There is a lovely pool...

My wife and myself and two other couples spent a weekend at The Villas. Le Franschhoek now run the place. Our welcome was very warm and professional. I had stayed here about two years ago and the villas themselves are still very attractive, nicely decorated, spacious and are well appointed. Being self catering, the kitchen has everything one needs, including...

My partner and I spent two nights at The Villas. We received a warm welcome on arrival accompanied by a glass of bubbly. Our room was clean, modern and tasteful decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was luxurious. Each room has a Lavaza espresso machine with 4 pods, two decaf and two espresso which are replenished daily....

This was my 4th stay at the villa's and it's always great! Fully equipped luxurious and charming villa's as a perfect base for visiting one of the loveliest towns in South Africa and some of the many wine farms. We brought some groceries and saved by cooking 2 meals. The warm welcome, chocolates and hand-written welcome note with friendly staff...

Booked this place for a weekend break. We had a fantastic stay and woke up to spectacular mountain views. The staff are friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and clean. Units are cleaned daily. Loved the fact that we could heat up the bedrooms and the lounge area as it was pretty much freezing outside :) Also had...

Over the Easter weekend we had a massive family reunion at the villas. Everything was excellently done with barely any catches if any. There was lots for the family to do in the area and fun was had by all. The hotel did superbly to cater for our needs and our gratitude go out to all that helped!

Reasonable villa about 3 miles from Franschoek so need a car. Stayed for 3 nights. Villa was a good size with large balcony and kitchenette. Bed was comfortable but as a large king size was far to small in the average size bedroom. Had to climb over bed to get to far side. Also disappointing that if you needed more...
