Perfect for what we needed...a couple of nights away from it all...stunning setting and room and service were ideal! Not to mention the lavender fields and ostrich retreat next door! Would recommend for couples with a need for relaxation.

Nice House but.......If you are scared, dont stay there. My son and I where compledly alone in the whole House and on the whole property......... alone in the endless vineyards, no Staff after 6pm, no Phone for emergency calls, Internet din't work after 7pm. It was absolutly scary. And nobody told us anything or advice us. Pool is after 2.pm...

Good Morning I am so sorry that you felt lonely at the manor house Suzie. This is a 200-year-old building with all of the charm of days gone by, the quietness and peace is what we strive for, however, I apologise for this, in your case being a little too quiet. I will definitely take these comments into consideration. Fond...

Outstanding service and hospitality all around. The guesthouse is were very attractive, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was made to order. The food was fresh, healthy and delicious. The guest room where we stayed was on the ground floor of the main house. It was large with a separate sitting/lounge area that included a desk, television and other accessories. The bedroom...

It might be because of a wedding taking place when we stayed there but neither the building or the facilities were super clean nor the staff super friendly. WiFi was quit slow , also it is a bit outside Franschoeck

Went for a late light lunch at the restaurant, ordered a pork belly and Malay prawn curry, like the food, fresh ingredients, good ambient, friendly staff, we managed to get a seat outside the restaurant, weather was good with breeze. Went with double baby push chair, if they will have the access for push chair to the restaurant that will...

Incredibly comfortable room among some beautiful scenery and great wine! The staff were all so friendly and Martha made a fabulous breakfast every morning. It was quiet at night with just the whoot of the resident owl. We felt like royalty here! We will return!

This place is the antidote to standard hotels. It's spacious and fairly luxurious, without being opulent. If you are over 5 foot 8 you will spend some time ducking or bashing your head: otherwise, it's a delight. We lost water one evening, but presume this was a one off glitch. And of course, the country house is part of a...

This was the perfect stop for a rainy Sunday afternoon after doing a number of stops in the Francshoek wineries. The food was gorgeous, I wish I could have had everything on the menu. I had the sirloin steak and vegetables with a glass of Pinotage and is still the best meal I have had by far. I will definitely...
