Clean and peace full. Different rooms to choose from especially for the budget traveller. Lovely garden and atmosphere. The lodge is close to a variety of restaurants and attractions. There is safe and sufficient parking. Expect a warm reception on arrival!

We came as a group of 10 students doing the Wine Tram. FTL was ideally situated very close and the staff were very accommodating. We had a left a few of our belongings behind and the staff made the effort to contact us to retrieve these. We will definitely be going back!

Very friendly service at the front desk. The beds and bedding, shower was Amazing! The only problem is the walls are so things you can hear the person in the room next door snoring. The floors are all wooden so you can hear other guests running or walking up and down the corridors from until 1 am and up again...

Management has bad behaviour in front of guest. Shouting ranting and raving. Disrespect for their workers. On our arrival an employee reported on the progress of the job he was doing. The manager immediately started shouting at the employee. The management also had negative comments about my payment methds and suggested to the clerk to increase my rate by an...

We stayed at the Travellers' Lodge for a week. Our room was spacious and clean and we had our own bathroom. We were very comfortable in this "no-frills" establishment and it is really the best value for money in Franschhoek. Friendly and helpful staff contributed to our very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend it to all visitors.

We liked the look of your lodge on the site. but were a bit disappointed at the size of the room for the price, and no view from our window. However, we were only there for a wedding, thus one night. the shower was hot and the bed VERY comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the monument and town . regards

Not enough or correct details given when reviewing in order to make a booking. I wasn't expecting to share kitchen and lounge area space with everyone else. No privacy unless you are in the room. Address for parking is diff to address for main entrance to book in. This causes you to drive around before being able to settle. Person...

Stress free stay for a school group. Enjoyed by all. Service is personable, facilities are comfortable, site is accessible and food amply satisfying. Will return either on private or solo trip as well as further school outings in coming years..
