We stayed here some years ago in the Cottages, it was a great experience. We have now stayed in the camping/caravan rest camp, we are booked in for 3 nights, I think from our first night experience we will be on the move. From arrival at Reception it did not sit well. It was like Picadilly Circus & Admin did...

We didn't book upfront our campsite in Addo NP (as the sanparks website showed plenty of availability), to our surprise when we came in (again pick your spot), many campsites were already taken by caravans.. the tentsites are so tiny that people with tents automatically go to the caravan sites, we with our rooftop tent also needed to take a...

For several years we have been visiting Addo & always try to secure reservations at rondavels because being able to sit out on your own stoep enjoy a great view of the waterhole & wait over a glass of cool wine is exceptional. We have stayed twice in the last 2 months & both times were excellent. Think that perhaps...

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. We stayed only one night in the safari tents and let me tell you, it was awesome. The tent is secured, so you can lock your belongings inside without any problems. You have a big deck that looks out to the park where we saw elephants hanging out. You have a communist kitchen area and bathroom which...

Stayed here in November 2016 for 2 nights. Arrived about noon, but they're quite strict that you cannot check in officially until 2pm. Did all the paperwork at reception upon arrival so just had to go back to collect our room key. While we waited for a couple of hours it gave us a chance to wander around, and we...

We enjoyed our stay a lot, were only sad that we could stay only one night there, although booking 11 months in advance. The Rondavel was simple, rustic, a bit on the used side, but clean with comfy beds and without uninvited wildlife Inside. The highlight is the porch close to the floodlight water hole. We realized when we left...

We stayed in a rondawel that had a perfect view of the watering hole. As soon as we arrived there were elephants hanging around and one night we saw a black Rhino. The room was comfortable but the stove in the communal kitchen extremely slow to heat up (and didnt get very hot). Unfortunately we booked a sunrise and sunset...

Stayed in chalet 30, a 2/4. Beautiful views and game viewing from the patio. Everything you need, clean and a lovely hot shower. My only complaint was the fridge that was making so much noise that we couldn't hear the hyenas at night! The flood lit water hole was wonderful even though we saw nothing after dark. Elephants and buffalo...

We stayed in one of the family bungalows which has a double bed and a sleeper couch. The kitchen is reasonably equipped, but the bathroom really needed a good clean and some more maintenance. The stoep is the best spot to sit out, watch the bush, and enjoy a braai or breakfast. Overall the units are decent, but lacking in...

We went during the quieter period of the year (July). It was very quiet and the camp site was quite empty which provided us with enough privacy. I could imagine it could get quite busy during the holiday seasons so keep this in mind when travelling. We also experienced small animals roaming in our campsite which was quite nice.
