We, my husband and I, arrived at the Bristol Plaza in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey on Labor Day, September 7, 2015, for what was to be a late summer relaxing get-a-way for us. When we arrived, we had to wait an hour for our room...More
Wasted $600 for two nights for $50/day motel. Ruined my last summer vacation. Soon as we stepped into the room, just want to leave and look for other hotel. Ekk everything so dirty looking and bedsheets to bathroom towel made me puke. Do not go...More

What time does the pool close?
My family is planning a vacation next year and we are considering the Bristol. We are a large family with about 16 people with kids ranging from 2-18 years old. We are looking for a fun hotel, and owners that won't yell at children (which happened in the past). My family likes to hang out and play board games on the balcony, and our last hotel made us go inside at 1000. Does this hotel have strict rules?
Is there a pool table, arcade, ping pong, etc?

The pool closes by 9 or so. Hanging out on balcony/deck is never a problem, but not many chairs or tables. Not really enough tables for everyone to sit and eat. Pool area is small, there's not a lot of room to move around or walk;especially if kids want to move around or sit and play. My kids never posed a problem with management or getting yelled at. I would keep looking. Diagonally across the street is a place called the compass. They have a little mini golf, shuffle board, ping pong tables and game room. Clean and friendly. First floor rooms would be very accommodating for large groups and I think the rooms have been remodeled with updated kitchens. More kid friendly amenities! Enjoy your trip!!!!!
