This has been our go to place for the past 15 years. Every time we come, we feel welcomed and accommodated by the nice lady behind the desk. You also can't beat the prices. It's no 5 star hotel, but the rooms are clean and...More

This is not the Four Seasons, so don't look for it. It's the Jersey Shore. This place could use an update, but it's clean, cheap, and the staff is sweet and attentive. You can't go wrong for the price and location.
We came to stay over the summer of 2016- and we booked our rooms for the next year before we even left. the staff were very friendly and helpful, we found the rooms to be very clean- no issues with mold smell or dead bugs...More

What time does the pool close?
My family is planning a vacation next year and we are considering the Bristol. We are a large family with about 16 people with kids ranging from 2-18 years old. We are looking for a fun hotel, and owners that won't yell at children (which happened in the past). My family likes to hang out and play board games on the balcony, and our last hotel made us go inside at 1000. Does this hotel have strict rules?
Is there a pool table, arcade, ping pong, etc?

The pool closes by 9 or so. Hanging out on balcony/deck is never a problem, but not many chairs or tables. Not really enough tables for everyone to sit and eat. Pool area is small, there's not a lot of room to move around or walk;especially if kids want to move around or sit and play. My kids never posed a problem with management or getting yelled at. I would keep looking. Diagonally across the street is a place called the compass. They have a little mini golf, shuffle board, ping pong tables and game room. Clean and friendly. First floor rooms would be very accommodating for large groups and I think the rooms have been remodeled with updated kitchens. More kid friendly amenities! Enjoy your trip!!!!!

"All rooms have an ocean view, the 2nd floor is best for families, and the ocean front rooms are more private."
