Great view of the valley from the rooms.. Family friendly suite with 3 adjoining suites. The center suite had a full kitchen, bath and sleep benches. One adjoining room had a king size bed, shower and bath. The other had 2 beds and a bath. Each was separately rentable or available as 3 rooms for a big family..

We joined many people for a weekend to Summit NJ and stayed at the Grand Summit Hotel. The hotel is very old and interesting. The location was at the end of the charming town of Summit. Easy walking to the sites. The hotel has both a lobby bar and downstairs lounge which was quite active the Saturday night with live...

The hotel have a lovely front entrance and foyer. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and well stocked with all that we needed. We had reservations for a week. We couldn't believe how quiet the hotel was on the first, and most nights, of our stay. Apparently, this lovely hotel is a wedding venue. On...

Recently spent a night at this hotel. Booked a room with two beds and when we arrived at the room it had one king. When we went back down to the front desk they gave us another room on the first floor that had two beds as promised. The hallway leading up to the room smelled like a church basement,...

This place is charming, but be prepared for its age. The floors squeak every time you take a step, but it is generally well maintained. The breakfast buffet is quite good, and the quaint little town of Summit has a lot to offer. I've stayed here several times and enjoy it.

Where do I start....The building itself is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. When I travel I always look for historic buildings and this has been a hotel since the 1800's and it just has that old time feel and comfort. I must comment on the beds, they were super comfy and I slept like a baby. The food...

Stayed twice at this hotel whilst on business nearby. Location is good although parking is a little expensive and can be difficult to find a space when the hotel is busy. Breakfast was fine. Could have been a little more than the regular scrambled eggs but when I am looking for a quick breakfast before heading out, it was more...

I recently stayed here for two nights while traveling on business. Nice big lobby and nice clean rooms. The breakfast is included and the hotel has free wifi. The bar is nice with lots of tv's and a good selection of food and beer.

On the grounds of a hotel since 1865, the summit offers good value in a easy to reach north Jersey location! As I recall the current main building was built in the late 1920s. Obviously renovated several times with all the amenities you need and a charm from yesteryear! The bar downstairs has the original columns from the livery stables...

Nice hotel. Older but clean. Nice breakfast. Nice location. I don't understand why they charge for parking. Seems unnecessary. They could use more outlets near the bed to charge your phone. Staff is pleasant.
