We are located in a quiet residential street in Summit's historic North End. The DeBary Inn is newly remodeled and redecorated, and we have taken great care to make sure that you are comfortable and feel at home. Located at 265 Springfield Avenue, in an amazing neighborhood that is renowned for its magnificent Victorian homes, the DeBary is just one block from chic restaurants and charming boutique shops.

My guide for any hotel/inn is based on Quiet, Clean, Comfortable. The DeBary meets all of these without doubt. So, why only a 4 rating? Read on... First of all, the Trip Advisor description is very accurate and truthful. The building is beautiful to look at and so well

Thank you for a wonderful review. We work very hard to deliver a terrific experience for our guests. Please note, by code, we cannot offer a more extensive complimentary breakfast. We offer fresh cakes, pastries, muffins, bagels, cereals, granola, yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs, juice and coffee. We also provide coffee in go cups for those on the run.

We're in the area to visit family. This has become a great find for us! It's a lovely place - clean, comfortable and friendly - with just a short walk into Summit. Comfortable bed, roomy bath and easy, casual Continental breakfast. You'll love it!

we've stayed at the DeBary a couple of times, and found it very comfortable. It's an old Victorian house, and every room is very different. Very convenient for walking into town or to the train station. Continental Breakfast included. Jimmy, the innkeeper, is attentive and

The DeBary Inn is a spacious late-19th-century home in a central area of Summit, a town named appropriately as the taxi from Newark Liberty Airport climbs a magnificent hill to reach the place. Management is willing to accommodate those who need to check-in late-- very useful as

Absolutely a great place. Mostly, business travelers but I SK sure the Inn is kid friendly. Two blocks from Summit, a wonderful and quaint town with great restaurants. Sorry for the late response.

I not know the answer, but call the DeBary directly. Kate, the innkeeper will be able to let you know. However one option for parking is to leave your car at the big public lot for the train . I am not sure what the rate is, but the rates are probably on-line. It is the New Jersy railroad to NYC. The public lot is covered, large and within a five minute walk from the DeBary. I would use that lot over the small DeBary parking lot.

If you are going to Manhattan that day we are a 38 minute train ride to Penn Station. From there you can take a 20 minute cab ride to Brooklyn, or hop on the F train to Coney Island Brooklyn. From the Inn directly I would suggest a car service, Summit Livery 973 750TAXI.

I have never been to the bar San Miguel. I think you could get there from the Deberry Inn on public transportation. It could take up to two hours or more to get there. You would have to take New Jersey railroad transit into New York City. From there you would have to find a subway on the F train. The two places are not close to one another.

"Rooms toward the front of the house tend to have better more light."
"My colleague was given a third floor room. We had to haul up his luggage three flights of steps"
"Fortunately, there is a large choice of different sized rooms. Rooms in the back and on the third floor will be quieter."
"Room #8 is teh best, but they are all good."
"Parking is tight so helpful to have a small vehicle"
