We stayed here on our mid-week mini trip to NYC. I found the rooms comfortable and the breakfast satisfying for a continental breakfast. The Inn is located walking distance to the Summit train station and the town has several restaurants. I stayed with my teenage children and they were not disappointed by the "bed and breakfast" stay which could have...

Thank you for choosing The DeBary Inn, and happy to hear that the kids enjoyed their stay. We are fortunate to be located one short block to beautiful down town Summit, and just 3 blocks to NJ Transit Trains to NYC.

Though I only stayed one night, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The inn is very comfortable and the breakfast delighful. The decor matches the time period but is definitely up to date with nice beds and plenty of warm water. Town is located a few minutes walk along Springfield Ave with many nice shops and dining options. If I am...

Thank you Penny, and glad you pointed out that although we physically appear to be a stately inn we are in fact a lot more. We have state of the art plumbing and electrical, with extensive WiFi throughout the inn. We offer 400 gallons of dedicated water heaters, with flex tube plumbing, that ensure plenty of hot water with a...

My wife and I spent 6 days at The DeBary Inn. This is a beautiful Victorian home that offers 17 rooms. It felt like being literally at home. It was comfortable to be there decorated with all the Christmas spirit. The inn is two blocks from downtown Summit, which reminded me of being back on the North Shore of Chicago...

One of the great aspects of the DeBary is the location. Just a short walk to the train station and many of the nice, friendly restaurants in town. But it's also great to spend time in a an old house with all of the associated charm and interesting history. Just know that it is an old house, and while very...

Beautiful Inn, wonderfully appointed rooms, charming, friendly staff, delicious breakfast choices. A break from the standard hotels. Reasonably priced compared to other accommodations in area. Walking distance to diverse selection of restaurants, both ethnic and native, reasonably priced and expensive

It was a pleasure having you as a guest, and we are always appreciative when you take the time to write such a wonderful review. We absolutely make it a point to offer our rooms at rates below our competitor's, and combine that with superior service and accommodations. Least we forget our greatest attribute, location. We are located one block...

Our stay at the DeBary Inn was wonderful! The staff was so kind and helpful. The Inn itself is beautiful, well decorated and cozy. Our rooms were conformable and lovely. It's within a short walk from the many restaurants and shops in town. The breakfast is great – breads and bagels, cereal, muffins, yogurt, hardboiled eggs, fruit, coffee and more....

The Debary Inn is a clean, friendly and magnificent home. The architecture was amazing. There aren't too many places like this around anymore. The breakfast was very good as well. The only complaint we had with our room ( Room 10) was the bed, which was not too comfortable. It sank in, in the middle which made it pretty hard...

The DeBary Inn is a fortunate throwback to the pre-Air BnB era. It's a typical 20th century B&B--big old house with odd corners, a real living room, and recently remodeled 21st century bathrooms. The public areas have a lived-in feel, more welcoming at night than during the day when the furnishings can seem a bit tired. Breakfast is casual and...
