The rooms are quaint, clean and great views of the ocean right across the street-you could not get closer to the dunes, boardwalk and surf. What makes this place special is that they make you feel like its your home. Beach chairs, Beach towels, even pricey beach passes, yes they otherwise charge for such in New Jersey, and a full...

At first I thought it was a bit pricey but with breakfast included, free beach badges, beach chairs and shovels to guests with the beach across the street, makes this place worth it. Then to have one of the best restaurants in town right on the first floor is a major coup.

The rooms here are very average. They are dated and worn but not awful. It helps to put them into the context of finding upscale rooms in Spring Lake, which seems to be a difficult proposition. You definitely do not want to stay in the rooms with a shared bath, which are tiny, dark, and smell funny. The Grand Victorian...

We drove down to the New Jersey coast with friends and had a somewhat late lunch at this Hotel. we sat out on the veranda and enjoyed the excellent food, particularly the seafood, charming ambiance (just across from the beach), and outstanding table service. All in all, a great dining experience.

I recently completed a two-night stay at the Grand Victorian with my girlfriend for the July 4th weekend (299 per night). While the staff was attentive and definitely a positive in our stay, the room was quite small, bathroom tiny, and breakfast frankly disgusting. I am usually not so critical but for a bed and breakfast, the food was disgusting...

The good - great location, very nice and helpful front desk peeps, clean, quaint and homey, not a lot of rooms so it never feels that crowded; lovely restaurant with ocean view and very good deals on breakfast and lunch. However, I was shocked at how small my room was - as in no closet small, as in toilet is...

Me and my friend were not happy with our room and the Manager Anita Called my phone and Said she would be happy to change our room. It was a very nice room with a great bathroom. Also we had a problem with our TV in the room. She came right away and replaced our TV with a different TV....

The best thing this inn has going for it is the location, right on the avenue facing the ocean. The Grand Victorian is an old building with a large wrap around porch that is used by the Black Trumpet restaurant. There isn't anywhere in the building for guests of the inn to sit and relax. The restaurant dominates. There is...

Old B&B in beautiful and quiet Spring Lake with NJ shore charm right across from the ocean. The room was adorable and comfy with our own large private bath (room 15). Got to checkin early as room was ready. They provided beach passes, chairs and towels at no extra cost. We nabbed a $88 deal from living social and would...

We stayed at the Grand Victorian recently and have to say that what stood out was the amazing service from all of the staff; whether check in to cleaning staff to check out. They were always friendly and courteous and allowed us to use the beach passes for an extra morning. We stayed in room 9 and it was clean...
