Nice clean campground.level sites friendly staff near beaches, and Smithville village a must visit if in area. neat playground for children and swimming pool We camped with a club and were allowed to use the large rec room for meals and meetings

Hi no you are not able to swim in the lake and not sure about dogs. They have canoes and you are able to catch and release fish.

It depends on the site. There are some sites that are farther than others from the restrooms, but none are more than a five minute slow walk.
