We flew in from Ft. Lauderdale and stayed for 6 nights. The weather was almost perfect, the view from our patio/ terrace was fantastic. We stayed in room 14 on the top floor, just make sure your legs are in good shape, there's no elevator....More
We just spent a week at the Laingdon (8/6-8/13) and we enjoyed it very much! Because we had extended our stay, we did need to change rooms (from 14 to 7) 4 days in, but that was fine. We just moved down 1 flight. We...More
The Laingdon hotel has an amazing location, right across from the beach. The house is historic and charming. Rooms reflected the time period, bed and sheets great. We were on the top floor and had our own terrace. Hosts are no nonsense but good folk....More

I don't recall there being hair dryers as I always bring my own... but there may be one hanging in a bag on the bathroom door. You can give them a call to double check. The Inn does not have laundry facilities but there is a Launderette at 42 Main Ave a few blocks away. Since you've not been to that area before you might trying walking down the boardwalk (to the left when facing the ocean) toward Asbury Park for dinner. It's a stone's throw away and there are several good restaurants right on the boardwalk. The Cuban one is our favorite. Ocean Grove is a dry town so if you like a glass of wine with dinner, it's nice to have Asbury Park as an option so close by. Hope you enjoy your time there!
