We just returned from a long weekend at The Majestic. There are two good things about this hotel; one is the location a half block to the beach and the other is their restaurant "Bia". Other than that, not much else is positive. The hotel is very dated, and in need of serious refurbishments. Upon arrival, we were barely greeted(not even...

Stopped here to rest after working overseas and it was just what I needed. Being off-season, I essentially had the place to myself and enjoyed the quiet and the VIP treatment. The hotel is 1/2 block from the beach and though it was rainy, I still was able to take a much longed for walk on the empty beach. The...

I grew up going to Ocean Grove during the summer. A few family members own homes they rent out so we've always rented from them. I was excited for a new experience & this was great! Complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise. We stayed in room #9 & loved it! Great view from the room and balcony. We enjoyed the...

A friend and I spent a lovely relaxing weekend at the warm and welcoming Majestic Hotel. The ambiance is very cozy and a perfect antidote to the cold winter. We took part in a fantastic wine and cheese tasting and slept well in the comfortable beds. Rooms available in all sizes and there's a very main lobby lounge, beautifully decorated....

We went in February, so it's likely a very different experience during the summer, but the place is cozy and inviting and warm! The continental breakfast is typical, but what makes it special is that it gets brought out, so you feel taken care of. It is perfect for a weekend getaway. Our room was small, but comfortable. The water...

We were able to book a last-minute getaway here for one night in January. We were welcomed by Valerie who was very friendly and hospitable, and she offered several suggestions for dinner and a night out. Our beautiful king room included a four-poster bed, a sitting area, ocean view balcony and a Jacuzzi bath, plus a handy kitchenette. On the...

We needed a weekend away from Christmasing, when what to my wondering eyes should appear but a Groupon for a discounted stay in a hotel in Ocean Grove, NJ. Having vacationed in Ocean Grove one summer, I knew the quirky place and realized this was just the town we needed. The Majestic Hotel is a lovely old Victorian B &...

We love the Majestic! We chose it as the venue for our rehearsal dinner, for our wedding guests to stay here for the weekend, for our day after the wedding brunch and where we stayed for our mini-moon and it was an excellent choice. Lots of our guests commented on how much they loved Ocean Grove and The Majestic. It...
