This place is a great value. It's not fancy but it's clean and close to the beach and boardwalk with beach tags and a hostess who is friendly and helpful. Personally, I've arrived at a lot of B and Bs to find the owners not there, but keys waiting. I think that's par for the course and we've been happy... More

All I can say is thank god that the people that wrote the negative reviews on this site are not your typical Koo-Koo's nest guests. You see this B&B caters to families and couples on a very down to earth and laid back level. The people that stay at The Koo-Koo's nest return over and over again because it is... More

This is a great laid back Bed and Breakfast! The rooms were clean and had great air conditioners, refrigerators, and cable tv. The Breakfasts were not your run of the mill cheap tasting junk food, but great omlets, french toast, etc... Only blocks from the boardwalk and the beach. They also supply beach tags at no charge. The front porch... More

I had to write this review after reading all the bad ones. We have stayed at the "Koo's koo's Nest" about five times or more. Everytime we go there our rooms are waiting for us even if we get there really late at night. (we have to travel a long ways to get there). We had stayed at another "Bed... More

The Koo Koo's Nest B&B: Oh My God! June 6, 2008. From the very first communication I had with Anna the host, I kept hearing the voice of Rod Serling from the Twilight Zone with his classic introduction "You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension - You've just crossed over into the Twilight... More

Can't understand the negative reviews, I have stayed at The Koo-Koos Nest several times since 2001 and have not had a bad experience. The owners, Tom and Anna, are very good hosts. They are 'laid back' in an informal atmoshpere, but that's what the shore is supposed to be like. The rooms have a real 'homey' feel, are nice size,... More

I had to laugh as I read these reviews as they are soo true! I am writing this review a year after our stay, but I remember it accurately as a wacky one. When we arrived, no one was there, but our name and key were on the door. The room was okay for the price. The building is beautiful... More

Koo Koo's nest is a very appropriate name for this B&B. Anna was our hostess...what a joke! She is extremely outthere and not very hospitable, she gives a bad name to bed and breakfast. My boyfriend and I spent 4 days there. We only saw Anna when we arrived and before we left when we had to settle the bill.... More

I had to add my review when I saw so many others had a bad experience like we did. I thought maybe it was just us. Apparently not. We arrived to an empty B&B, and had no idea what to do. So we waited and waited, no owners. 4 hours later (with a toddler in tow) we drove around and... More

My mother & I stayed at this lovely B&B in Ocean City, NJ during the off season. We opted for the 2 room Rainforest Suite... so we could have some space. We both had a great time here. This was our first time staying at a B&B... so were where looking for something offbeat & we found it. Our Host,... More
