The room was gross and when the A/C smelled like smoke when it was on. It was so bad we couldn’t run the a/c. The room was way overpriced. $171 for a night. Go for a motel or any other option such as an Airbnb. I never leave reviews but I only am in this case because I think it’s a rip off and want you to get a better option. It would be worth paying a little extra to get a reputable brand if you are looking for a non-motel option.
Room was average. Bed was uncomfortable. Mold in bathroom. Nobody at front desk for check-out. Weird odor. Hard to understand front desk person during check-in. No breakfast. No coffee. Entrance to parking lot was hard to see.
its cheap so what can you expect but a place to stay ... The room looked like something out of HOTEL "American Horror Story" I got the 60's room.. There were not any bugs (that I saw) and it was clean enough to sleep there
Our non-smoking room had obviously been smoked in, but the front desk promptly changed our room. Room was okay, but not the cleanest, and the furniture is a bit worn, but for the price okay. I did not see any bugs, and the bathroom was clean.
Dirty. Dirty walls, dirty floors, dirty bedspread. Moved the bureau in front of door to feel mildly safe. My first hotel stay without my family and it was horrible. Booked for the weekend and stayed one night. Slept on the floor at a friends house instead the second night.
It was good. The room was clean. And hey had scrambled eggs for breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was I was in a non smoking room and it was on the second floor. But the smoking rooms I believe we're ground level so you could still smell the cigarettes.
By far the worse hotel we have ever stayed. Found roaches in the bathroom. After calling the front desk twice they finally came to our room as they didn't believe there were roaches in the room. Moved us to a second room. next morning found roaches in that room as well, no hot water and mold in the bathroom. The furniture is old and dirty. white sheets are grey. beds make noise from being wrap in some sort of plastic. The hotel manager refused to give us a refund. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
I rarely write reviews, especially bad ones, because often people mean well even if the service stinks, plus I don't like harming people's businesses. In this case however, I feel the need to warn people about this terrible, terrible hotel. The first thing you notice when you enter your "non-smoking" room is that it reeks like a smoking lounge. It was disgusting and impossible to sleep due to the stench. When you turn on the bathroom light, the vent starts emitting more disgusting cigarette smells. It was too late to cancel my reservation so I figured I'd tough it out. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because I had a very late night planned, so after speaking to them, both on the phone and again at the front desk, I was assured that my desire for a late check-out was not a problem. They said they'd simply charge a small fee for each hour I stayed past checkout time, and I'd pay the fees when I checked out. This sounded perfect to me. After staying out until 8am, (long story) I returned to my smelly room and tried to get some sleep. At noon on the dot, despite the arrangements I made for a late checkout, people starting angrily banging on my door, insisting that I get out immediately. I yelled through the door that I had arranged for a late checkout- they should ask the front desk. I was told to pay additional fees at checkout, depending on the time I checked out. I thought, surely the friendly guy at the front desk must have written down a note regarding my planned late checkout. I was wrong. They said I either needed to go downstairs and pay them in advance immediately or they would "call the police". I've stayed at crappy motels before, but never in my life did I receive shabbier treatment. The whole point of my late checkout was to get the sleep I needed, and THEN pay for the additional time I stayed. They had my credit card info so there was no risk of me not paying. In retrospect, they just said whatever I needed to hear to book the reservation, and never even wrote down our arrangements. In summary: - The non-smoking rooms smell like you're inside a giant ashtray. - The noise from the highway was incredibly loud. - The beds were hard as boards, as were the worst pillows in the US. - The staff have no intention of honoring any agreement you make. At noon, you are an intruder who must be arrested. The only reason they're in business is clearly due to the flow of people who never visited before, since no one would ever return. If you're desperate for a place to stay in the area and this is the only hotel you can find, I strongly recommend sleeping in your car. It smells less, much more comfortable, and there's no one to treat you like garbage.…
Glad to see the family hotel chain still exists but it is not at the status it used to have. I had hoped the Wyndham name would bring it back. It hasn't. I still have hopes and will monitor their status in the future.
You will be folliwed around and watched by tbe breakfast lady. You cam count in thr front desk guy overcharging you if you book 3rd party and will be talked to very nasty if you bring it ti their attention
