The Wooden Duck was the perfect B&B. Karl & Beth thought of everything. It was easy to find but felt like a thousand miles away from the city. We only wish we could have stayed longer and enjoy the beautiful grounds. The homemade cookies and breakfast were the perfect way to end the evening and start the day. We slept...

Thank you Karl and Beth for your endearing hospitality at the Wooden Duck. Your attention to detail created a loving comfort that allowed my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary away from the hustle and bustle of having an energetic lab puppy. The room was complete with everything from plush bathrobes, wine glasses and bottle openers, to a diverse...

We were looking for a nice place to spend an overnight in the countryside and the Wooden Duck filled the bill. Our room (Mallard) was very comfortable, we enjoyed a dip in the pool and the setting was peaceful. We would recommend it as a great base for exploring Sussex County.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Wooden Duck B&B. It was hard to believe that a place so peaceful and beautiful was only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Northern NJ. Beth & Karl had made available to us every possible amenity that you could imagine right down to an umbrella in each...

Beth and Karl were perfect hosts, attentive and solicitous of all our needs. Our room was gorgeous, with a private balcony,...

My wife & I stayed for 4 days at The Wooden Duck. Beth & Karl were very friendly & accommodating. Grounds & pool were beautiful, breakfasts were scrumptious, (don't miss the blueberry stuffed French toast). Lots of excellent restaurants in the area, with sample menus available at the inn. It's a comfort to know that such a relaxing inn is so...

My husband, twelve year old son and I stayed at the Wooden Duck for two nights in July during a heat wave. It was an amazing experience and a wonderful change from our city trips. It's a little tucked away, but worth finding. The host/owners Beth & Karl are friendly, attentive and work hard to make guests welcome and comfortable. The wooden Duck provides a retro-charm, in carefully thought out decor and amenities, to encourage you to slow your pace. The surroundings are peaceful, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and the dining room...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Wooden Duck Bed and Breakfast for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the lovely grounds, pool, and game room.
