Great place to base a return visit back home. Quiet, comfortable and welcoming. The pool was refreshing and we appreciated the availability of juices and snacks. We stayed in the Missouri Room conveniently located on the ground floor with a very nice ensuite bathroom.

What could be a more romantic choice for a wedding night? Getting married back in NJ after moving to South Carolina had it's challenges. Lodging was a biggie as the local hotels and motels are sorely lacking in ambience for such an occasion. Then we discovered the Candle House Inn. Set back off of a quiet country road in Mullica...

My husband and I actually stayed here on Valentine's Day in 2015 (the Trip Advisor calendar wouldn't go back that far). It was snowing like crazy out, so we went to dinner and then stayed in the rest of the night playing board games that were in our bedroom. It was a really relaxing experience! The couple who own the...

We spent a night in the Texas room on the way to the Jersey Shore. The room accommodations were spacious and included a very comfortable king-size bed and full-size bathroom with a great shower. The hosts,Denise and Tom, were extremely accommodating when we needed to alter our travel plans. They also provided a home cooked breakfast that included fluffy pancakes...

I only stayed one night but this was such a lovely setting. The innkeeper Denise is so welcoming and accommodating. My room as well as the common areas was absolutely immaculate! The decor was homey yet elegant. I noticed a lot of extra touches such as snacks and beverages in the dining area, a dressing area with plenty of mirrors,...

This place is a gem, but definitely off the beaten track. It would be a great place for a heath spa; tranquil and restful. And the pool is already there. But for now it is just a B&B, although the breakfast part is pretty basic during the week because the owners leave for work elsewhere. I read where other reviewers...

Tastefully done, inviting with a feeling of being home and pampered all at the same time! The homemade breakfast including fresh eggs from chicks raised right on the premises was wonderful, along with all the other goodies that came with the meal! I strongly suggest you check out this little gem...

A recent trip to from NYC led us to this wonderful inn, located just 23 miles from downtown Philadelphia. In a very quiet area of New Jersey (surrounded by farmland), the inn was a perfect place to rest for the night. An early check-in enabled us to enjoy the small, refreshing, saline swimming pool on a sunny, late summer afternoon....

My wife and I stayed at this property in August 2013 My wife and I were returning to Baltimore from Atlantic City and as part of our trip, we decided that as part of our trip we would include a stay overnight at a bed and breakfast. Staying at such a facility would represent a first time experience for the...

This was our second stay at The Candle House Inn, and we enjoyed everything about our visit! We appreciated the warm, friendly greeting from Denise after driving south for over six hours. We spent a restful night in a very comfortable, immaculate room, and looked forward to eating fresh eggs from the innkeepers' chickens in the morning. Breakfast was fresh...
