The lobby was beautiful w) a Christmas tree decorated w/ hearts on it for Valentine's! The room was kinda small. It smelled very clean!! The tub was cracked. After washing my hands, the faucet to the sink broke off. It had already been broken off before & was not repaired! The jacuzzi tub was nice but only sat 1 person, very small!! The stairway & hallway to the 2nd floor was above us. It sounded like elephants walking above us in the middle of the night & the morning! You could hear everything!! The heater was broke! The room must have been 80 degrees in the middle of the night, so I had to put it on 67 degrees from 70 degrees & it still was blowing hot air out!! Couldn't sleep all night. Very uncomfortable! We had a view of the frozen pond. It had froze over due to an icestorm we had. We had to use the sidewalk & it was an ice skating rink to the parking lot! Just a thick sheet of ice. I had to tell them @ the front desk to put salt down!! I had snow boots on & had no traction. I fell about 3 times! The car was sliding in the parking lot cause we didn't have any traction. From what I hear, there are 12 jacuzzi rooms here. I would try another room but they definitely need maintenance done here.…
Overall a nice experience. What is evident is the team overall approach to consistent customer service is not uniform. Everyone is not clicking to the beat. My experience was 3.5 not over the top great and definitely not bad. There was one woman who checked me out she was extremely pleasurable to interact with. You can tell she wanted to be there and she understands the value of excellent service. For her genuine care and attention I gave a score of 5.0. The room was a bit disappointing for a suite. The bathroom had stains in the walls and on the shower floor. I missed the days when the Marriott hotel experience was one to look forward to. Nowadays it’s a hit or miss with the quality of the rooms. Thanks again for meeting my need of an unplanned stay. The view was awesome. The bed was comfortable and well made.…
Over all not impressed by the customer service. They held $100 on my credit card and it took 5 months for them to release it. I had to contact the Corporate Office to solve the issue. I will be looking for another hotel If I visit the area again.
The hotel is discussing. My first room the tv didn't work and the carpet was full of stains. I didn't look around much as the night auditor offered me a different room.room number 2 was so gross. The air conditioner was broken. One bed was clearly slept in, the other bed had hair in it. The beds were two different heights as well. Floor not vacuumed stains on carpet, dead bugs in the tub pieceses of vomit in and on top of the toilet. But the tv worked. The night auditor moved me to room #3. This rooms as well was not very clean. At this point it was 1am I worked all day and flew up from Florida since my mom had serious emergency surgery and my focus was on her. Carpet stained. Ac vents and filter filthy, dried up contact on counter, stain from toothpaste in bathroom mirror. Afro-American hair on the walls of the bathroom ( it could not have been mine I'm european decent). Rust in tub, nice try covering it up with a no slip liner. Mold in tub. Pubic hair on the back of toilet and some type of human matter maybe dried blood or snot on light switch. Crumbs on the floor. I was so tired from a full day I just gave in and got my disentfecting wipes out and wiped the whole room myself instead of moving again. One of my towels also had a big black stain as well as a washed blood stain on it. This should have never been folded to be put into a guest room instead out into reclaim for further cleaning. If it wasn't so late I would have chosen a different hotel. There were nasty hand prints on the door from the time I checked in until check out (2 nights) luckily they were automatic doors because I would not touch them. Cooridors are dirty. Stains everywhere, big bags of trash in hallway and outside. Certain spots of the 2nd floor corridor feel like your gonna fall thru it. I am an Assistant General Manager for the Fairfield brand here in Florida so I know the cleaning policies during Covid very well. This hotel clearly doesn't care about guest safety or cleanliness. Also the 7-3 desk clerk was at the desk several times without her mask on. I get it the masks are hot, I have to wear mine at work as well but if she needs a minute with it off she could have gone to to the back. Clearly this property is not standing up to the Marriott Wide Covid cleaning protocols. Had I not been so tired and concerned for my mom's health and her medical emergency I would not have ever stayed here. If felt very dirty. The only thing this place has going for it is the night audit lady working September 9 and 10. I didn't catch her name but she was extremely nice and was truly genuine. You can tell she cares about the property and guest satisfaction, it's ashame you don't have more of her…
The staff was nice but walking in there were tables piled everywhere and not inviting. (Partly because of COVID but it felt just neglected.). Room was old and AC made noise and just felt like it needed some care. Had a smell of smoke. Carpet had stains and needed to be replaced or deep cleaned. I have been to other Fairfield Inns and did not feel this meet the standard. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and there was a basic grab and go breakfast because of COVID. No issue there. The pool is closed but I have been to some places where it’s open in same region with a sign up. Not a bad place but I would not come back. Facility needs an update
