We stayed 3 nights although we should have left after one. First night a man with PTSD wandered around and tried to get into rooms and yelled in his room. Second night a couple had a huge fight and were screaming. Police called. Third night a couple got into a fight and it sounded like the woman was being killed. TERRIBLE. Wynham should pull this hotel out of their chain. I have no idea if this is typical for the area but terrible.
Each year this property seems more run down. It's clear that the owners are doing little to alleviate the inevitable wear and tear a hotel gets. Staff seems to be friendly and competent and 2020 Covid protocol is observed.
I just checked into my room and the bathroom has a wet hand towel from the last guest and a used bar soap! This is unacceptable during COVID times. In addition the bathroom is still under construction! The bathroom walls have holes in them, the tub cracks are dirty and moldy, and the shower head is broken and disgusting.
We were traveling and only spent one night here after driving for a number of hours. We were tired and got settled in, and then went into the bathroom and found it in the midst of renovations. I went to the desk and spoke with the front desk clerk, and explained my surprise that they would have rent the room unfinished. She was very apologetic saying that she was not aware, and requested my photos so that she could send to the GM. The completed renovations were very nice, and the clerk understanding. I personally emailed the GM regarding and he wrote back his apologies, explaining the reasons for the holes in the bathroom walls, and that they are addressing those measures to prevent future occurrences.
Outstanding customer service, and very clean hotel, and room. Reasonably priced. Only negetives were guests should be notified at booking regarding any construction , hence the lower sleep quality rating.
