I was very impressed with the Hotel Alti in Luchon. It doesn't look much from the outside but our room and other rooms that we saw when walking along the corridors were very impressive. We arrived in town without a reservation, but fortunately during a quiet period of the year. The hotel was able to accommodate us and the room...

Really great location and nice hotel. In terms of special character and charm, no. It is sort of "plastic" in its aesthetic with an IKEA-like interior. Other than that, it has the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Pretty good breakfast. NO fresh juice / canned or out of machine :(. Also, no in-room coffee <-- big negative in...

Check in was simple and efficient with an English speaking receptionist for those who do not speak French. We had booked a car parking space but this was located down a narrow alleyway at the back of the hotel and it was a tight squeeze for our Peugeot 308! We booked the superior room which was modern and clean but...

The hotel staff from when we arrive were great and could not do enough for us. We used the pool and showers after the ride which was a good way to wind down. The breakfast for €10 was good value and set us up for the day.

The hotel is perfect distance from some of the hiking trails in the Pyrenees so its possible to come back and relax. The pool in the leisure centre, although small, was unoccupied so we had it too ourselves to recover after coming back from the hike. The hotel is also just a few minutes walk from various restaurants in Luchon....

Lovely hotel, excellent reception staff who could not do enough, charming owner who delighted us by showing us his 1943 Harley Davidson, rooms were comfortable, bathrooms good with lashings of hot water, could not be more centrally located, breakfast adequate... the whole experience spoilt by the miserable member of staff in the breakfast room who we believe was the proprietors...

We have been staying at the Alti Hotel during our bike trip through the Pyrenees. The Hotel provides good-sized rooms, a central location on the main street. Our room was facing the mountains and it was quiet. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful (bike storage, Mail delivery etc.) What really stuck with us during this stay was the breakfast. The...

On the main street. The floors are served by an efficient lift, rooms modernised with a good bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the street but on a busy night we heard no noise. The only complaint, wifi was almost impossible to receive in room 336, compared with a fast broadband in the reception...

Stayed here for one night on a touring holiday. Rooms are pleasant, ours overlooked the street and I was a little worried about noise, however when we were in Luchon it was quite and we heard nothing. Breakfast is a selfsevice buffet, lovely breads with hot and cold choices to set you up for the day.
