We do have a room type that has the sofa bed but it may not have been available at the time of booking and we are truly sorry for this. I will also be sharing your comments with our Front Desk staff. It certainly seems that some of our staff members did not go above and beyond for you which is not normal for our guests to encounter! How old do you have to be to check in?
Officially? Eighteen (18) years old at time of check-in, assuming you have a major credit card, although some hotels requirements are 21-25. Minors are a liability (they can't be held to a 'contract' regarding the room, etc.). If you book this room in advance (using the card you'll arrive with), you'll likely not get hassled when you arrive. Want to be sure? Call the hotel and discretely inquire as to the local policy.
