I would not qualify my stay at this location as a good one. I stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Deptford for 2 nights. Upon arrival, we were greeted the representative at the front desk. She was very friendly. We checked into our room and headed out. Upon returning to the room, my boyfriend took a shower. The bottom of the shower curtain was very moldy, gross, and discolored. There were also stray pubic hairs all over the shower. This is already disturbing enough, however even more disturbing during Covid-19. It was extemely repusilve now more than ever that the bathroom conditioners were like this. He said he felt even dirtier than before showering, and went down to complain. We were moved a few rooms down. We did a quick check over of the room conditions in comparison to our initial room. It seemed a lot cleaner, however the air conditioning unit did not work. The next day, my boyfriend got one of the Grab & Go breakfasts from the lobby. This was to serve hotel guests safely during Covid-19. The yogurt inside was expired. Later in the day, my boyfriend threw something out in the trashcan in the bathroom. The bag inside the can fell in, when he went to fix the bag he discovered that there was dried up vomit inside the trashcan. It had a horrible odor. Who knows how long that has been there. Disgusted yet again, he put the trashcan in the hallway. Upon returning to the hotel that night, the trashcan was still in the hallway, only the cleaning staff had removed the original bag that had fell in. There was a fresh bag hanging over the side of the trashcan, but to our dismay, the vomit was still dried up inside the trash can. I am also not sure if there is anything sanitary about this Marriott property. Whoever cleaned our room that day must've used the same rag to clean in who knows how many rooms. This time we noticed stray pubic hairs all over the door of the bathroom. I can't even imagine how dirty the bed we slept was, judging by how the rest of the property was kept. I will not be returning to this property.

Hotel's Favourite
We were a small swim team staying this past weekend. We had to get up early and our swimmers are tweens, not always the quietest. The staff did a remarkable job making sure our team were respectful of other guests, plus they made sure they had all they need for the next day. The property was clean and safe - as a parent 2 things that are so important! We cannot say enough great things about this hotel and the team! Thank you to Alyssa in Sales for helping us prior to arrival! The front desk team on Saturday 2nd shift was so nice and good to our kiddos! The breakfast staff did an outstanding job making sure our kids were fed well! Thank you to the property staff - we had a great weekend b/c you were supportive!

I have no bad things to say about the front desk or anything like that they were courteous and professional. My problem is with housekeeping. More so than not, the rooms have to be immaculate, especially during this pandemic. We should believe that they clean those rooms thoroughly and completely. They do not. We had ants. In the bathroom and on the desk. In both rooms we rented. The front desk offered to move us immediately. But with no guarantee that another room would be ant-less, we opted to stay where we were. Thank goodness there were none on the bed! Also the trash area outside...if it’s gonna look that bad keep the fence closed. I’m not surprised there were ants looking at that mess. It wasn’t like a picnic invasion but I killled 4 and saw 3 more. They have to clean better. Also shampoo the carpets more often between guest, because I know they smoke in the rooms. The front desk person was friendly and diligent about checking my license & travel plans which felt comforting during these COVID times. It was a convenient location right next to the highway and near many stores & restaurants. But my positive comments stop there. I felt it was ridiculous to be charged $10 for parking at a suburban NJ hotel with an ample parking lot. Really?! The rooms were not well-insulated because I was woken up several times during the night with loud traffic noise from the highway. The “free” bagged breakfast consisted of only a tiny water bottle, apple, and small yogurt even though the sign said there would also be a muffin and granola bar in the bags (this wasn’t a fluke as all three of my bags were the same). Speaking of three people, there were only two towels in the room (why even fill out the occupancy question when making my hotel reservation?) so I was told when I called to request another that we had to go to the lobby to get another towel... hopefully it was some kind of COVID precaution thing where they wouldn’t deliver one to our room but this was annoying after settling in (we arrived in the evening) to have to go back out for one towel. No lotion in the bathroom either. Overall, I’m glad I had an inexpensive rate and only stayed one night so these things really didn’t ruin my trip or anything but I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

My daughter and I were traveling for her sports team. The team decided to stay here the night. Upon arrival, some of us were charged a $10 fee for parking and were given a card to hang in their car, others were not. My bathroom door knob was broken, there were no tissues, no lotion or shampoo, just conditioner. I went to wash my hands when we first walked in and there was no soap. I went into the hallway and there was a woman with towels, so I asked her for some soap. She was NOT WEARING A MASK. Didn't even have one on her anywhere that I could see. My room had NO extra blanket and NO extra pillow. My toilet wouldn't stop running. Every 10 minutes all through the night. Sleeping was impossible. We were on the side of the main road and it sounded as though the traffic was coming right through the room. Noise upstairs was loud and went on late and started super early. We were hoping for a pool, but COVID rules says NO. We also didn't get any kind of warm breakfast. Just a bag with a water, muffin, yogurt and granola bar. I saw 1 sanitizing station in the entire hotel. My AC was either freezing us out or it was so humid in the room that we were sweating.. all night the temp was changing randomly. Another family we were with had 2 adults, 3 kids. They were given 2 towels. When they called for more towels they were told they didn't have any more towels. When we woke up on Sunday to get our "bagged" breakfast I noticed there were 2 left. None of our other families got a breakfast. They clearly had no idea how many ppl were in their hotel, nor did they care to make that many breakfasts. I would highly recommend NOT STAYING IN THIS HOTEL.
