We went here, despite some of the bad reviews, because it was a last-second decision that needed to be made and we were out of options. I'm glad we did. Despite what other people are saying, the staff was nothing but incredibly helpful and friendly to us. (Thanks, guy who helped us with the canoes, lady who booked us a...

I will preface this review by stating I am a seasonal and this is my own personal response and not affiliated with WPCR. I've read many of the complaints on this site and here's a direct response to them: 1. If you feel the policies do not fit your needs, go elsewhere. The rules are posted on the web site...

I have been going to Wading Pines campground for 7 years now. Yes things have changed but it is still a great place to camp. I have not been able to find any other campground I would rather be at. Staff and seasonal's go out of there way to make sure you are welcomed. My last visit I went for...

This is our 3rd time to Wading Pines for our family reunion. We had 28 people in our group including kids. It was a busy weekend and the staff was friendly and helpful. They had a lot of activities for the kids to do (it was Christmas in June weekend). Our family has been to many campsites throughout PA, MD,...

We are avid weekenders who love trying new places and be returners to the fun spots. We generally make our own fun and have a blast where ever we go and did this time. For our second time at Wading Pines Camping Resort, a resort is it NOT!!! We came for fathers day weekend and besides the seasonals, it was...

Been goin here and the staff treats you like criminals. They act like you bothering them when you try to book canoe trips. Yell at you about every little thing. Very miserable and mean staff. We will never come again. Bring 20+ people a year and they lost that business. I wondered why the campground was so empty. Now I...

We spent a Saturday overnight the weekend after memorial day. I called ahead for reservations and they said it was a quiet weekend and to just come down-we live about an 1 1/2 away. They did not ask for $ to book a camp spot. We were meeting friends with a pull behind camper and we have a slide in....

Wading pines is a great campground. I was shocked when I read some of the reviews. There are plenty of activities to do besides just enjoying natures wading river that flows along the edge of the campground. Yeah the price could be a little cheaper, and the older staff could smile a little more but that doesn't bother me. I'm...

“Know before you go... there's enough space for those who want to party all night and far enough from most people that you won't disturb others who would rather enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars. Stay up front in the non-sewage sites.”
