We stayed one night here due to wanting to start our vacation one day early and not being able to book our Main Motel for the extra night. The room was in fair shape but one lamp had a bulb not working and I had to repair the handle on the shower faucet. There was no hot water for our...

We spent three nights at Cape Winds in August 2016. First of all, I was not expecting a four star hotel. I was, however, expecting a comfortable motel that I could a get a decent night sleep and be relatively close to the beach and restaurants. Unfortunately, that did not happen. We arrived at the check-in time and immediately noticed...

This hotel is very comfortable very clean and comfy. You can walk about a block and a half and be in the middle of cape mays shopping area and all needed. Only problem they need new shower heads couldn't wash in that shower . Checking in at the Montreal was not too bad plus they gave us great ideas for...

Pros: clean, no bugs, everything is functional, walking distance to beach if you are comfortable carrying your stuff. I get that's it's sort of reasonably priced for a beach motel in season... But there were plenty of hassles that just added up to more than I could take. Cons: 1) DAMP.. Like, papers dimpling and sogging overnight despite a dehumidifier...

The room we stayed in was nice sized. The dorm size fridge and microwave were great. We noticed a odd smell when we first open the door to the room but didn't think anything of it. Later that night we discovered it was do to dampness and was a very strong musty mold like smell. They did have a small...

Traveling over July 4th holiday weekend, our choices were limited. This was one of the few locations in Cape May that was reasonably priced (under $200). The hotel is under new management so you have to check-in at another hotel. I waited in a long line at other hotel, while others received a warm welcome, information, etc. When it was...

This was one of the few places under $200. About 4 blocks from the central shopping area. It's clean but very basic--pricey for what you get. You have to check in at a completely different hotel, which was really weird. No staff on site. Parking in front of rooms but only room for 5 cars.

Cape Winds Motel is a great place to go when visiting Cape May, if you don't need many amenities and don't need to be beachside. It's clean, with very reasonable rates and is only a 5 minute drive to the beach & and an easy walk to a lot of the Cape's stores & restaurants. The only inconvenience to us...

The Cape Winds is a classic '60s style beach motel with everything you need and nothing that you don't. The rooms are clean, pretty, and functional with simple decor and adequate lighting. The bathrooms are very neat and clean and appear to have been redecorated recently. Each room has a mini fridge, which is also quite convenient. The motel is...

Though not the best hotel to stay at in Cape May it filled in for a day. The hotel was clean and close to attractions and for a budget conscious family it would work for a day or two in the off season.
