Lovely hotel. It's a family owned operation. The hotel and rooms are very nicely furnished with updated everything. The bed was comfortable and the room large. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable of the area and he creates a friendly atmosphere. The price is extremely reasonable!

One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The inn- keeper was so kind. We left our travel alarm clock behind, and he mailed it on to us as soon as I called. The room was comfortable, above average continental breakfast, quiet little town. Walking distance to good restaurants. I probably would try to get a room on the... More

We stumbled upon the Belvidere on accident. We were hiking the Delaware Valley Park systems and decided to spend an extra night. We Googled hotels in the area and here we are.The hotel is very well kept. It is 195 years old and feels more like a 25 room B & B, but nicer. Rooms and bathrooms were recently renovated... More

I was in the area for a family reunion. I am so glad that I stayed here! The man who runs the place is definitely a people person. There is a complementary breakfast available hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal packets, cereal yogurt, pastries, juice and of course coffee. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely! It feels like a step back in time,... More

We stay at the Hotel Belvidere each time we visit family in this area of NJ. The hotel is on the Historic Registry, but well taken care of by the owner. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with free WIFI and free continental breakfast. The owner/ manager is friendly and helpful.

Perfect place to get away from it all. The small town of Belvidere is close to civilization but is also a step closer to yesterday. Go when there is an event in town, a bit more to see and do. This hotel is a hidden gem. Great owners. It occupies the old 1830s hotel but has been fully updated. Give... More

I was in Belvidere for business and this hotel was most convenient. However, the complimentary wifi only works in areas of this homey hotel, and my room was not in the zone. My room had a refrigerator, but no coffee pot, which meant I had to get dressed before I could get that first morning cup downstairs where a complimentary... More

What a wonderful little town and beautiful hotel. My husband and I stayed for a weekend in February when temperatures reached below zero. Hotel and room were always warm and inviting. Very comfortable bed and we loved the large, walk-in shower. Good selection of pastries, cereal, yogurt and fruits for breakfast. We will definitely stay at the Belvidere Hotel on... More
