My fiance and I visited last weekend and while the hotel is wonderful and we had a nice stay there were a couple of negatives. The first being the day before we checked in. We called just to see if anyone could give us an idea of weather and snow conditions. The receptionist said she would transfer us to the...

We've stayed here twice for family winter vacations & leave always looking forward to our next visit. The staff is outstanding - specifically Daniel, the bellhop, Concetta in the restaurant, waitstaff, maid service, and countless other staff who greeted us in the hallway with warm conversations. Our boys even requested to have their picture taken with Daniel before we left!...

Beautiful property with a perfect view. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. I was looking for a weekend to just relax in the mountains and that was exactly what I got! We booked the rest and relaxation package and it was a nice treat. There was a bottle of wine in the room when we arrived and we...

Let me start by saying I never write reviews, I tend to leave that to the literate, but in this instance I am making an exception. We went during the week, and from the moment we pulled in front of the hotel, we didn't lift a finger. We were greeted by Stanley, who took our luggage in(which he had to...

Lovely hotel with a beautiful view of the white mountains! The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. The room was quaint and the hotel was immaculate. I enjoyed that every day there was a list of things to do. It was located near Littleton and Lancaster, two lovely historical towns with great restaurants and small shops. We had a lovely...

This historic property has been lovingly restored--it is beautiful without being stuffy. Also very clean and fresh. Ski areas and hiking and outdoor activities are just outside--but if the weather is bad--the hotel provides many nice, comfy places to sit and read in the spacious lobby by the fireplace, the library while enjoying the panoramic views. Resort activities are also offered...

I'm not one to write negative reviews. I never do it.. I'm a pretty easy person to please, but it was such a horrendous experience I had to post it because maybe others will read this before wasting their money at the Tavern. With such a beautiful resort, you would think they would have a restaurant that serves good food.....

Kathy and I stayed for two nights with friends. It was cozy and warm in spite of a snow storm. We love the history and ambiance of this historic place. The tavern cocktails are great, and the tavern food pretty good. We ate the second night in the 1865 Wine Cellar which is promoted as Fine Dinning, what a disappointment!...
