We have a great full hook-up seasonal site with a nice fire pit and super neighbors! This is our second year camping here and we love it. It's close to town yet far enough away to feel like your away from all the hustle and bustle. Camp is across the dirt roadway from the lake and camp store. Kid and...

We have been seasonal at Swanzey Lake Campground for many years and continue to enjoy it as much now as we did when we first checked in. Over the years, the campground has upgraded its facilities and even adding cable to all of the sites. The people who own and run the campground are fantastic people who care deeply about...

Such an awesome place. The lake and scenery is spectacular.Nestled in the woods and a beautiful lake to swim, fish or boat on. The campground is clean and very reasonably priced! I only wish we were here longer😊

I just came home yesterday after camping here with my boyfriend and his tween daughter. It was my first time camping like this (tent camping), but not theirs. Also, I would give it 4.5 circles if that was an option. Here's why: + Family-friendly (lots of families and kids running around. I love that kind of atmosphere and energy) +...

I'm a tenter and have been for the past 20 years of my camping life. I visited this campground last month and had an ok experience. the sites are small but for a tenter it's ok. If you have a camper you should be fine with the hookups but again be warned the sites are small and narrow so just...

My son was in a weekend lacrosse tournament in Keene, NH. I was planning on commuting the almost 2 hour drive each day. A friend suggested camping over. I was not on board, my son was, he knew best. What a great experience, we had the best time. Now I should mention the weather was perfect and my buddy basically...

My friends and I had a great experience here. We rented a tent site. It has electricity hook ups, which were a bonus. Yes, you have to walk a little ways for the bathroom, but it is CAMPING. I'm amazed at the reviews complaining about bathroom facilities being far (took me all of two minutes to walk there). I mean,...

My wife and I chose this campground due to its proximity to Keene, New Hampshire and the Pumpkin Festival that we would attend there. We arrived a little after 9:00 pm and they were kind enough to stay open to allow us to check in. It's a good thing that I called beforehand because Janet informed me NOT to follow...

My boyfriend and our parents stayed at this campground for the weekend. Our parents have campers and we were in a tent. The sites are very nice and private enough. We did have a hard time fitting our tent on the site with the camper (we have a 6 person tent). There are no open field type campsites. This campground...

Last weekend I had the pleasure of staying with six of my college friends at Swanzey Lake Camping Area. I am not much of a camper but I have to say, what a great find! What I'd really like to talk about was the sense of community. The owners as well as the seasonable campers treated each other like family....
