Beautiful Inn and property. Room was comfortable, as was the sitting room with fireplace. The inn is loaded with books on every imaginable topic - a nice plus.Breakfast was first-rate. We will be back in warmer weather to enjoy everything the lake has to offer.

Everything was just lovely from the beautiful views of the lake to the gourmet breakfasts. The charming inn, itself is well maintain and decorated with love and good taste. One could write a book on just the interior of this inn. There is so must to do and so many beautiful places to do nothing at all (inside and outside)....

Thank you for the great review, my staff and I work hard to make every guest's stay memorable. You touched on one of my favorite things about this area, the birds. The feeder is attracting some beautiful birds this year, such as several orioles (my favorites), purple finches, gold finches, grosbeaks, woodpeckers and on and on. The birds on the...

Authentic New England Inn on lake with stunning views. Rooms are large and comfortable. Included breakfast is gourmet quality and sets you up for the whole day--for early risers coffee on hand for those who like to walk around the lake in the tranquil morning.

Thank you Noel for the super review. We work hard to make the rooms clean and comfortable. As for the views, we enjoy them but can take no credit. And those views are fabulous year round, from the winter landscape of the ice covered Kezar Lake surrounded by snow covered mountains, to the new blooms and green shoots of spring,...

We were in need of a place to stay between Boston and Burlington VT. I am so happy we found the Follansbee Inn. Denis made our stay welcoming and relaxing. The Inn is spotless, and the years have been kind to the old building. Breakfast in the morning exceeded all expectations. I can't wait to stay there when we can...

We took a last minute trip to the area to ski one last day for the season. Have stayed on Sunappee Lake before and wanted to try Lake Kezar. The Follansbee Inn is located right across from the lake. We were greeted by Dennis the owner who is lovely. Got us checked in and showed us to our rooms (with...

On a trip to scope out colleges in the area we stayed at the Follansbee Inn. Our room was perfect for our father/son visit to the area. It had 2 comfortable beds. Also Wifi for our son. The poached egg breakfast was delicious! Although the outside of the Inn is a little plain, it's a gem inside.

Thank you so much for your review. Guests tell me frequently that the inside of Follansbee is a gem, with so much interesting art and so many antiques and with each room distinctly decorated. And we have several rooms with multiple beds that are ideal for parents with children. The exterior of the inn is the exterior of a classic,...

My wife and I attended a musical performance on a Thursday evening and reserved a room at the Follansbee to avoid a long trip home. What a lucky move! The inn is a cozy, comfortable place and Denis the proprietor a welcoming host. Breakfast was excellent, and the resident dog is a delightful plus for animal lovers like us. The...

Thank you for your review. The music venue you attended is a superb venue that is just over a mile away. You are so right about Kezar Lake, it is quite inviting. In the summer it's a great lake for swimming (warm enough even for a southerner like myself), boating (using the inn's canoes, kayaks, row boat or sailboat), fishing...

My wife and I had a fantastic stay At the Follansbee Inn a couple of weeks ago. We skied at Sunapee on Saturday, and went snowshoeing on the old ski trails at King Ridge on Sunday. Both are close by. The Inn is in a great location just across the road from Keyser Lake. I would highly recommend a walk...

We came for the long weekend and wished we could have stayed longer. Room was extremely comfortable for three of us. King size bed for us and separate space for our daughter, with shared bath. Breakfasts were all phenomenal. Very much enjoyed sitting by the fireplace or wood stove, skiing at nearby Sunapee and walking around Kezar Lake. Store across...

Thank you so much for your review. Just to be clear, every room has a private bath so when you said "shared bath" you meant shared for the three of you in the Jennifer room. We have a few rooms that can accommodate families such as yours very comfortably, with separate areas for adults and children. And the walk is...

We had a great stay at the Follansbee Inn last weekend. It's everything you want in a New England inn/B&B -- charm, comfort, and warm service. The breakfast was superb. The common areas and guest rooms are well-appointed with antique furniture and artwork. Plenty of closet and storage space. The inn is just a short 20 minute drive to Mount...

Thank you for your kind review. Indeed Sunapee and Ragged Mountains are 20 minutes away, so guests have a choice of ski mountains. And as you mentioned, the common areas are well appointed and warmed by a fire and great company.
