Spent a couple days in the area and had looked up this Inn. Food was excellent! Our server was very helpful and new how describe the food for us. The Charcuterie Board was amazing, as was the stew, Duck and my meal shown below. I wish I took more pictures, but it really was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. We had a lovely table near the window with couch seating or over sized comfy chairs if you will. A must visit.

Just took my husband for a two night stay at the Sugar Hill Inn for his 51st birthday and we had a terrific time! We were greeted upon our arrival by a very knowledgeable young lady who told us a brief history about the inn, where the dining room, tavern, and library was located and then she showed us to our room.. the Bickford Suite. The room was great! The bed was very comfortable, the window seat was a great touch, along with a love seat, coffee machines, refrigerator, television, and huge bathroom! Everything was very clean and the little touches here and there (chocolates, beverages, interesting books/magazines, etc) really showed how the staff puts in a lot of effort to make their visitors comfortable. We met the inn keeper on our first night and immediately appreciated her personality and sense of humor! Very much enjoyed talking with her over the two days that we stayed. We had both dinner and breakfast each day and the food was top notch! Delicious!! The wait staff were very attentive too! Definitely recommend the Sugar Hill Inn for any couple looking to have a nice, quiet, and romantic weekend in the mountains of beautiful NH!

Just got back from a 1 night stay at Sugar Hill in and stayed in the Nickerson Deluxe whirlpool suite. The staff was wonderful and so inviting. Chris greeted us and upgraded our room due to the perennial room that we originally booked being under renovation. The Inn pays particular attention to detail even during the pandemic. We were greeted with complimentary cupcakes and cookies and had complimentary bath salts for our whirlpool tub. Also had the option of borrowing snow shoes. All of these things may seem minor but were not offered to us at the Thornhill Inn where we stayed 3 nights prior that was also priced a bit higher. Breakfast was great and the Inn was well cared for and the room spotless. Thank you so much for making our last night stay in NH for our 10 year anniversary so amazing!! 5 stars!!

I highly recommend the Sugar Hill Inn!! Nestled in the White Mountains of NH, this bed and breakfast is a charming oasis. The attention is in the details--from the themed rooms with chocolate by the bedside to the freshly prepared breakfasts that await you every morning. The staff is genuinely welcoming and kind. You feel like you're a part of the family when you stay here. The owner especially works hard to ensure guests have a wonderful time. The local scenery and nature are peaceful yet grand. When you go to Hampshire, this is the place to be.

After months of lock down in NY, we needed to get away from climbing the walls. We decided on Sugar Hill Inn which was the best decision we made. The friendly staff are very professional and couldn't be more helpful. Rooms are cozy and well kept. Chef Val is the best and his gourmet meals are better than most I've had in NYC.
