If you're looking for a friendly, welcoming bed and breakfast experience, this is it! The owners will make you feel like family and you will surely feel comfortable relaxing in the quintessential New England atmosphere. The rooms are super clean and equipt with all the necessary amenities but still hold on to the charm of a country inn. Lots to...

Most comfortable stay we have ever had before. Ten of us took over the Hilltop Inn this past weekend and had a very enjoyable stay. We felt right at home with Mike and Meri while taking over the place!!! Rooms were cozy, the living and dining room large and comfortable for us to enjoy ourselves Saturday night playing cards, talking...

The inn may be in need of a fresh coat of paint, but the hospitality is genuine. Meri and Mike were great hosts! The inn is furnished with lots of knick-knacks. Our room (room 2) was comfortable and well-furnished. Just be aware than central heat comes on late at night; use the ceiling fan or open a window to keep...

...it really is like coming home. This is our third or fourth visit, and we and our dogs were welcomed back like family. I have never felt so relaxed and comfortable and truly welcome as I do when we're at the HillTop, watching the dogs all gambol together in the yard, and sipping wine and catching up with Meri and...

From the tranquil location in New Hampshire's White Mountains and the enchanting Victorian rooms (with free wi-fi!), to the delicious home-cooked breakfast, this was a wonderful experience! Highly recommended; we can't wait to come back!

We celebrated the 4th of July at The Hilltop Inn over the long weekend. The owners Meri and Mike were very welcoming and made us aware of the opportunities to participate in many down home community events including a 4th of July potluck supper, parade, flea market & duck race. Being able to travel with my dog, Quincy, made the...

Very accommodating for dog lovers. Doggie guests have full run of the house and are invited on furniture and allowed to stay in the house even when you are gone. Owner's two medium size dogs can be unruly. I would not stay here with small children. Grounds are nice and don't miss trails in back of house which provide a...

Shhhh! Don't tell non-nice people! Meri and Mike have the most awesome New England B&B for people that have dogs, or love gorgeous rambling old refurbished historical buildings, or like convivial conversation by a woodstove, or love watching birds feeding on the porch. Oh, also, don't let on what fantastic hosts Meri and Mike are. Except nice people! You can...

I stayed at the Hilltop this past Saturday night with my girlfriend and our yellow lab after a day of hiking in Franconia Notch. Meri and Mike were incredible hosts. They are among the most welcoming, hospitable, and friendly folks I've ever met. The Inn is quintessential New England. There was a warm woodstove in the living room, beautiful wood...

Wanted to plan a long weekend getaway as a birthday treat, so we took a trip to the mountains and stayed at the Hilltop Inn. We were not disappointed and had a great time! Mike and Meri are fabulous hosts who know the area inside and out. We hiked one day and then relaxed at the inn that evening. The...
