This place is located in the Northern most part of New Hampshire. Just minutes from the Canadian Border. It over looks the Beautiful Lake Francis in Pittsburg, New Hampshire. All cabins/rooms have full kitchen facilities. The owners Gary and Doris are the nicest folks you could ever meet. We stayed in a three bedroom cabin overlooking the lake. It had... More

Rustic cabins spread across acres of wooded land in Pittsburg, NH close to Lake Francis. We were in hotel-like cabins; stayed over Labor Day weekend. For those traveling on Labor Day it is important to note that Canaan, VT has an annual, huge softball tournament that weekend so many softball teams are in the area. This year, 42 teams and... More

This is as far up in NH you can get, Moose alley. The motel is very "cabin" like, very clean units. It's soon to be sold, visit soon because the owner Doris and Gary are great folks. This property is all on Lake Francis a man made lake by dam just down river from the 1st of the three Connecticut... More

You can't find a better place to set up for a weekend of snow mobiling or fishing. It is simply perfect. Trails go right down to the water or out back to the woods. Gary and Dot will take good care of you and know the area and people well.

Thank goodness for friendly, helpful owners Gary and Doris and their Spruce Cone cabins! We have family up there and occassionally need to rent a place to stay. The places we used to stay (Tall Timbers, Lopstick) have turned fancy pant$ and outrageously priced. For example, a last minute "bargain" quote on a one-room studio type cabin for my husband,daughter,dog... More

Very affordable motel with a cabin feel and access to the lake. Rooms are very clean and have 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen and living area. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Great location in the north country. The motor lodge feels like a log cabin and has a full kitchen. The owners are nice and keep the rooms clean. It is also very affordable for singles as pricing is per person.

Love the prices to stay, great location,Hospitality is wonderful! However some of the cabins & motel could really be updated & thoroughly cleaned, some cabins are better than others. Will go again because its fits our snowmobile needs!

I recently stayed here with my husband and in-laws. Our cabin was across the street from the office and the other cabins. I’m hoping it was not an accurate reflection of Spruce Cone. I expected "rustic", but this cabin is in desperate need of updating and a thorough cleaning. On a positive note, the location is nice and close to... More

Been coming to Spruce Cone Cabins since 1993 for Spring fishing. Gary and Dot Bedell are the greatest hosts. The units are clean and well taken care of. Have had many good conversations with Gary in the lodge and he has always advised us about the fishing and places to go. Can't beat the price. Three generations of our family... More
