I was in the area for a local event and called very late one night with no reservations. Expecting to receive an answer that there was no room – I was surprised that they could host me for a two-day stay. They provided a very warm welcome and were accommodating hosts with my last minute arrangements. Their breakfast was fantastic...

My husband, myself, and my parents stayed at Under the Elm for 11 days. Fred and Rosemary went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was like Home away from Home. The breakfasts were delish! We will definitely visit again and would recommend highly. Jean and Dennis Cubero Tampa, FL

Thank you to Rosemary and Fred, for comforting our family during a very sad time. The family breakfast was just what we needed. The nature and quite of Under The Elm was soothing, with beautiful gardens and plentiful stars in the evening.

Under the Elm is my favorite type of B&B, it is thoughtful. The hosts are extremely kind and welcoming, allowing one to really feel at home in their very tasteful and comfortable house. The rooms are very generous and pretty without overdoing it. The bed in my room was excellent- I slept very well. The common areas are great and...

Actually spent more time there than with the family. A perfect B and B. Warm and welcoming hosts. Charming facility and lovely grounds. Very accommodating at breakfast. Will definitely return (...

This is a very nice and pleasant bed and breakfast in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the garden and the nearby lake (in which our children were swimming). The hosts were very friendly, and helped us to have lobster at their porch - first time ever!! Also, the house and the rooms were comfortable (our only complaint was a missing curtain...

Drawn to the area for a family wedding, we had a hard time locating an affordable lodging (we tend not to do hotels and motels as a rule). The owners keep a really nice property, and the decor is charming. Our breakfasts were excellent, and we were visited early morning by a flock of wild turkeys, just to add a...

We came upon Under the Elm by happy accident as we took a spontaneous long weekend trip from Montreal and down New England. When night fell, we asked the GPS in the car to lead us to nearby lodging, and after a few false starts, we arrived in the courtyard at Under the Elm. We couldn't have dreamed of anything...
