We greatly enjoyed our stay and will be going back as soon as we can. The home was beautiful and the decor was fantastic. Our room was clean. We felt immediately at home as soon as we stepped in. The owner met us there himself to make sure we didn't have any questions or need anything else. There were great unique breakfast options offered as well as the traditional meals. This is one of our new favorite weekend getaways!
The Samuel O'Reilly Inn is about one mile from downtown North Conway and the accommodations are awesome!!! The room we stayed in was Stacie's View and would definitely book it again. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and a very generous portion size!! Matt was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The backyard has a view over the Saco River and a nice fire pit as well.
We had a group of 18 for my friend’s bachelorette party weekend. We rented the entire big house! It’s a really cool space, indoors and outside. Amazing location that’s walkable to the Saco river and downtown North Conway. I have nothing but good things to say about our stay. I’m hoping to go there again soon.
My Husband and I spent a fantastic long weekend at the Samuel O’Reilly House last month! It took me about two weeks of online searching for just the right place to stay for our first mini-vacation post-COVID. When I found the Samuel O’Reilly House, my decision was made. I reserved the Rose Room for Friday with a Monday checkout. Our room was wonderful with a nice deck off it with a wonderful view. When we arrived, Jason showed us around the inn, explained how breakfast worked and left us to enjoy our weekend! The inn was clean, quirky and very comfortable. And Chef Waneeta’s breakfasts and freshly baked afternoon surprises were without compare! Honestly! Breakfast was absolutely amazing every morning. Then, you’d walk into the inn in the afternoon and the scent of whatever delicious temptation she’d prepared would lead you to a plate full of something you just had to try! Each morning, Andrea would greet us cheerfully, ask us what our breakfast choice was and deliver it with a smile, knowing there was no doubt about how much we’d enjoy it! From the inn we took a ride up to Mt Washington and rode the cog railway halfway up the mountain, spent time shopping in North Conway (we highly recommend visiting the Naked Bohemian, The Penguin Gallery and Beggars Pouch Leathers). Boston Brothers Pizzeria in North Conway had great pizza slices and great service, as well. Now that the Mt Washington cog railway is going all the way up the mountain, we will be heading back to the Samuel O’Reilly House! We are looking forward to enjoying the wonder of Chef Waneeta’s creations and Andrea’s fantastic contributions to a wonderful time away!…
We stayed at this wonderful B&B for our wedding anniversary. We booked the Angels view room. Loved how cozy the bed was and tub in the bathroom was a relaxing touch . I love hot baths and this water was steaming! We also enjoyed the cooler weather in a beautiful fall evening with the in room fireplace. Such a cozy romantic room with a beautiful Mountain View from the bed. the view was fantastic and peak fall Foliage was beautiful. We enjoyed the wonderful staff that had real New England charm and hospitality. I was nervous that I would not get a good night sleep because the room was off the main highway however the noise was not an issue at all. I slept so well during our stay. We also loved the private trail on property. The breakfast was so yummy & filling. I am gluten free and I had two choices for breakfast! We loved our time here & will be back again one day soon.…
We stayed here for a long Anniversary weekend in October 2021. Matt was a great host and there to great us when we arrived to go over all the details! We even got to peek at a few other rooms. The property is beautiful, the views are amazing. We even took the path down to the river. The Saco was happy that day! The highlight was breafast every morning. Waneeta & Andrea in the kitchen, well I can't say enough about them, amazing breakfast, great conversation and wonderful little afternoon treats! Thanks for a great stay, we will definately be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our too short stay. From the friendly greeting by Jason to the delicious breakfast from Waneeta and Ida(sp?) it was an excellent overnight stay. We enjoyed cocktails by the fire pit with a tremendous view overlooking the Saco river and mountains in the distance. The room was unique with industrial themed decor. As my wife pointed out, this is a man themed bed and breakfast. Nothing frilly. Our group had two rooms on the backside of the inn. The front of the inn is on a very busy road. The rooms on the back have the most amazing views. A night table for my phone would have been nice. There are two decent restaurants a short walk down the street. We will definitely return.
Great location! Walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops! Room was clean and cozy with lovely view of mountain, river and fire pit. We enjoyed looking up at the stars by the fire. Room had two sets of towels and water bottles. Recommend a few simple enhancements that would make the stay more comfortable: functional night stand with lamp, hand soap in bathroom, and sturdy hangers in closet to hang clothes.
The space is beautiful! The view overlooking the Moat Mountains with the Saco River running below was the perfect place for our wedding. The Inn had enough space for our bridal party to stay with us. Each room is unique and very comfortable. The common areas were great for us to hang out in the night before and morning after the wedding. We used the studio as our bar and welcome room and it was the perfect place for both! From our first tour to waving good bye after our wedding weekend, the Samuel O’Reilly House was great to work with! They were very professional, helpful, attentive, and thought of all the little details to make our wedding weekend perfect. We are looking forward to our next trip to the Whites so we can stay at the Inn again.
In July 2019 I got married in the Mt. Washington Valley area and chose to host my pre-wedding welcome party as well as the after wedding party at Samuel O'Reilly House. We rented the full inn for the weekend so guests were able to stay there also. It was great to have the full run of the inn for guests plus a well-equipped event space in one location. This included use of the kitchen with extra serving dishes/utensils, tables and chairs, secluded backyard with firepit and lawn games. Matthew, the General Manager, was fantastic to work with. He truly has a passion for hospitality and an energy that is all about bringing the pieces (and the people) together. Jason was also available in-case we needed anything and got the firepit started for us. As for the inn itself, guests really enjoyed the comforts of an updated Victorian inn combined with the funky vibe of the steampunk-themed décor. The location is really convenient for enjoying all that the area has to offer. As hosts, we found the variety of room sizes and configurations handy when it came to designating rooms for each guest. I am sure it will be the first place many of our guests will think of staying when they return North Conway. Personally, I’m looking for another reason to host an event at the O’Reilly House and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, intimate and flexible space in North Conway.…
