Visited the inn as part of a "bike the Whites" package biking program. The drinks were tasty and original and at the time, the vat of vodka soaked-fruit by the bar provided a very fun way to cap off a day of biking. Very charming. Upscale. Better suited for couples than families.

The inn keepers are great. The rooms are good. Ours was a little cold due to where it was located. The day we were there they got over 8 inches of fresh snow. We went out and cross country skied right outside there door. Your stay comes with free cross country ski passes for the trails outside there door. The...

We have been visiting the 1785 Inn since we moved from there in 1992. First we enjoyed our wedding reception in 1987 and have been returning once or twice a year. Becky's inimitable baking, Charlie's expertise in wine and hosting, all within its beautiful decor are legendary with all their visitors. Also, xc skiing can be enjoyed on its property!...

I stayed at the inn for one night as part of a New Jersey tour. I don't usually stay in B&Bs, so I don't have a lot of comparables. I enjoyed my stay. The the room was comfortable, if a bit dated (there was a tanning lamp in the bathroom! How cool.) What made this stay charming was the warm...

The 1785 Inn surpassed all our expectations! We were there for the MLK Weekend with our 5-year old. We were the only guests with a young child but everyone was lovely and friendly, from staff to fellow guests! First of all, the included breakfast is the most delicious and filling meal ever. There is a breakfast appetizer (for lack of...

Family-rub bed and breakfast with small bar. The owner is very accommodating and nice. Decent amenities and shared bathroom. The location is good, right on the main street that goes through North Conway.

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, having never stayed at the 1785 Inn before...Needless to say, it was awesome. Becky and Charlie, the inn's keepers, were very pleasant, warm and engaging. My girlfriend had the opportunity to enjoy a casual with them at the quaint bar, where we discussed our families, and learned of their 32 year history with...

We spent a delightful week here. Owners Becky and Charlie are so warm, welcoming, and helpful. Beautiful old inn, extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are heavenly, everything cooked from scratch, served in the dining room with separate tables overlooking the gorgeous view of the mountains. Relaxed evenings in front the roaring fire in the beamed-ceiling living room. Very friendly...

The Inn was very comfortable, the owners very friendly, and the breakfasts wonderful. The history of the Inn was interestng and the two fireplaces in the common areas were a treat in the evenings. Room 9 was very comfortable once the space heater kicked in.

This hotel is a gem!! It is a very old hotel, but very clean and nice. The bedding, bedroom and bathrooms were old school but clean and inviting. Stop in for a late nightcap at the bar, or relax in front of the fireplace. The views, grounds and experience was great. Wake up to the smell of a homemade breakfast,...
